I helped co-ordinate getting a wide variety of music in the CD & DVD area from 2013 thru 2017. The Somonauk library has arguably the best music selection in all of Illinois. Possibly even the USA when it comes to a public library. Julie the library director & long time librarian Loretta are exceptional in their job performance. Awesome staff there as well.

I LOVE this library!! They go the extra mile to find/obtain even hard-to-find books and authors. The staff are well versed and their fireplace in the magazine/lounge area is lovely. So warm and welcoming!! Free wonderful beverages are available next to the fireplace!!

Love this Library the atmosphere is inviting and warm. Love the christmas decor and the antique christmas showcase inside the front door, so adorable. The Librarians are most helpful and go out of there way to help you. My Sister and I are here from out of state visiting with our Mother, we often stop here at this Library! #Love it, #the best Librarians

Love this library. Its a bit small, but very nice. The children's area is superb! Very community oriented and several activities for all ages. The librarians are all so nice and extremely helpful.

The Somonauk public library is a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming place to enjoy books and computers. Sections designated for children, teens and adults. And the best of all are the pleasant, friendly and knowledgable employees.
