Our family had an amazing time at this campground! It’s the perfect destination for a family-friendly vacation, with something for everyone to enjoy.

The water activities were an absolute hit with the kids. There’s no shortage of fun on the water! They even had organized games by the water, which made it all the more enjoyable for the entire family.

For those who love a bit of friendly competition, there’s also a great area for games like bags (cornhole) which we loved playing as a family in the evenings. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

A special shout-out to Mary and Joe, the owners, who made our stay even more memorable! They truly go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Their personal touch and dedication to the campground really show.

All in all, this campground provided the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we can’t wait to return!

Upon arrival we checked in and were told that we had to pay extra for 2 of the 4 adults staying in our camper. I don't mind paying this but when you call to make the reservation they should tell you how many people are included and how many pay extra. The campsites are so small that once you park your vehicle next to your camper(no room to leave it in front of it) you have barely any room left on your site. When you are trying to back into your spot you better hope the people camping across from you are at their site to move their vehicles otherwise you're not getting into it. The "Lake" is a stagnant pond, the water feels thick and doesn't look clean. The beach has garbage on it and there are chunks of glass, the garbage cans that are provided were overflowing by noon and trash was on the ground. The Bath house has 4 showers that require quarters and it's shared with the general public so good luck getting a shower. The bathroom and shower stalls are also hogged by the public to change in so you have to wait forever. The fire rings provided at the campsites are so rotted they are falling apart in pieces. Quiet time is 11pm, but even at midnight people have their music going and kids are running around screaming and playing. We arrived Friday evening and by Saturday at noon the dumpster in the campground was overflowing with trash on the ground and the smell was horrific. The pool had a safety handrail to grab when entering the water but it's broken so badly that it provides zero support, which would be a huge deal if the stairs weren't slimy and slippery. The water was cloudy and didn't seem to be from the chemicals because you couldn't smell any. The dump station is located at the exit making it difficult for anyone with a large camper to pull out when someone else is using the station. The septic also seemed to be seeping up through the ground and stunk horribly.

The only positive was the way they do Bingo is fun for kids and adults alike. Our group made the best of it and had some fun, but out of 7 adults and 2 kids each person rated it a 2/10, would not return or recommend.

The customer service is amazing the lady at the front desk was the nicest lady I have ever met, she needs a raise. The cabins are very hot but there nice. The only part I don’t like is that you need to be 18+ for life vests. There is a lot of flies though and it kind of annoys me but it’s alright. They need a bit more floaties on the lake.

I'm currently staying here and considering leaving. There's garbage everywhere. You have to wear life jackets in the deep end, but they aren't open to rent one. Neighbors fighting at night for a few hours but no one did anything, so we had to call the police. The bathrooms are disgusting with dried blood on the sinks, toilet paper all over...I can't get clean in there. Just overall, not a good experience so far. In fact, it's terrible.

Packing 15 lbs of campers into a 5 lbs camp ground. Sites are too small and not enough room to navigate, you are on top of your neighbors. Also very tight quarters while trying to get to your site. Dump station is right at exit so you will be blocked in if someone needs to dump on the way out. The “lake”
Is not a lake and a very bacteria filled pond that is very green. Gambling machines are on site but close at 6PM!!! Poor grammar on the rules sheets, so it’s unclear what is allowed and not allowed. No online reservation system, took 3 calls to get a response to book a site. Will not stay here again, not worth the money.

Was okay. Camp site neighbors where to busy doing coke and drinking for 48hrs straight to allow us sleep. We complained about the music getting blasted for 36 hours straight. No security. No rules. Camp at your own risk.

Can’t stay up late here. Make any kind of noise after 9 they are visiting your site. We are not a loud group. Just us and 3 younger kids. We had two camp sites to have our older kids visit the next day so they were already paid for if under 18, but the owners wife charged them when they came in because “they looked old” didn’t bother to ID them. The owner wouldn’t offer to refund any other way besides us driving all the way back down there (as I didn’t find out until I was told they were charged until later). Owners are very buddy buddy with the people who rent the rvs so it seems they aren’t as friendly to those coming for a weekend camp. We can often and we won’t coming back.
