We love it here. Great on-sight manager, great facility and location. Neighbors are friendly and courteous. No issues with noise or anything negative. Safe, comfortable, lots of nice features and amenities included. Always clean and well maintained. I make wooden model ships and appreciate the in-house workshop/ craft room. Very very happy here.

I am a resident of Empire. I am very pleased with the accommodations here the place is immaculate. The halls are always clean. Everything is it is also a secure building. I don’t have to be afraid as far as the management goes. Rose is extremely helpful and very attentive and always responds to anything that you’re requesting, I don’t know who wouldn’t be happy living here. All the residents are friendly and very attentive and very nice. We’re all just one big happy family and I think anyone here would help each other at any time needed.

I have absolutely loved my stay at Empire. The apartment building is very clean and well maintained and has several wonderful amenities. I especially appreciate the continental breakfast, fitness room and lovely outdoor fire-pit and grill. The manager, Rose, is so incredibly kind and welcoming as are the other residents here. It’s also in a great spot, close to groceries and restaurants, and feels very safe. An amazing place to stay overall!

The place is fantastic. Always clean neatly presentable. The manager Rose is always there to help you always on site and she is absolutely a dream. I would recommend this place for every 55 and older resident. Something to do every day if you want. 👍❤️

We are very happy here at Empire-Silvis. It is very clean and well managed. It's great meeting everyone in the mornings over coffee or continental breakfast. There is something going on several times during the month. Everyone is so friendly and careing.

Pros - beautiful building and amazing location.

Con - The building manager makes things way more difficult than necessary creating unnecessary stress and an uncomfortable environment. I have multiple examples in email format. If you decide to live there, be sure all conversations are in writing. I have ALL of my emails archived.

Maureen and I are so excited to be a part of Empire. We love the concept of community living and everything about our apartment and the building. But, Rose, the manager, is the person who clinched the deal for us. She exceeds 5 stars! Never has anyone been more accommodating or helpful. She is professional and very sympathetic to our needs. It has been a wonderful experience living at Empire. The apartments are great, granite counteracts, stainless steel appliances, full sized washer and dryer, fireplace, workout room, social room, patio with fire pit and gas grills, private garage. This is some of the amenities, but the one I appreciate the most is the security of the building. I know that if you are in the building you are a resident or you are a guest of a resident
Rose, the people manager, Braydon, the maintenance man, and Lillie, the dog manager are great. ( yes, we have dogs here and Lillie even organizes parties for the dogs).
Rose organzies the greatest parties and works hard to keep the residents happy, feeling welcome and at home from day one.
Braydon keeps the building running smoothly. You may see him in the SocialRoom, in the halls, working outside but you always see a smile on his face and a quick "how are you doing?"
And even though Lillie is a dog manager, she is quick to say hello to all us humans and loves it when we pet her.
The other residents are so friendly and out going. A lot of the residents gather at the continental breakfast and visit and laugh and enjoy each other's company.

Update
After living at Empire for 6 months, things changed. The parties stopped unless the residents planned and furnished the food.
Rose quit organizing the parties and changed so many rules that you did not know from day to day what you could or couldn't do. The wonderful continental breakfast ended up with cheap items to eat and very few people going down to visit and have coffee.
There have been 5 apartments emptied within 4 months, at a great expense to the residents, because of the friction with Rose. If you don't get it in writing from her, she never said it.

Just saying be careful before you rent there. Things aren't always as presented. In the future I would never rent an apartment if the manager lived in the same building.
