I have stayed at the All Seasons many times - ten years at least, multiple times per year most years. The former host, Mary, was exceptionally competent and ran a great B&B. However, Mary moved on and things have changed. The new owner, Tammy, is very enthusiastic and full of energy but either running it on the self-service AirBNB model or learning the ropes. Since I'm not sure which, I will give her a break by not recounting my entire story and rating my experience as average. But there are lots of places to stay in Fairbanks and I will be trying some of them on future trips.

My wife and I stayed there a few years ago and Mary the owner was awesome. We had overnight excursions planned for Barrow and Anchorage and Mary kept our stuff for us, no charge, and kept a room available for us when we returned. She even provided box lunches for us since we were always out exploring Alaska. If you're ever in Fairbanks skip the chain hotels and stay at All Seasons.

Three couples booked a week stay in November to see the northern lights. We were all delighted with our stay. Tammy and her mom prepared an outstanding breakfast each morning!! We found Tammy very accommodating for all of our request. She suggested a viewing spot for the Northern Lights and we got outstanding photos. We will definitely be back!!!

It's Right downtown, and in walking distance of everything. The owner is friendly, and keeps a well cleaned up place. Lots of room to kick back and read a book. Whatever your needs, they seem to accommodate them to your satisfaction. Definitely coming back next time.

My husband and I took the red eye flight from Atlanta to Fairbanks (over 10 hours of traveling). The bnb host, Tammy, assured me that red eye flights are common and to call her cell phone once we arrived around 2:00 am. We landed. I called, and called, and called. No answer. We drove to the bnb - no lights, no cars, completely empty. The note on the door said to call a number after hours. We did, no answer. Stranded in Fairbanks at 2:30 am, we made our rounds at nearby hotels for a last minute room accommodation, but because it was Valentines Day weekend - everything was sold out! ||||In tears, the Regency hotel felt so bad for me they snuck me in as they had a last minute cancellation (4th hotel I tried that night!) An hour later, Tammy calls apologizing saying she was working down the street at a flower shop preparing bouquets (at 3:45 am?) and missed my calls. Said she'd love to take me and my husband out for breakfast the next morning - that never happened nor was the request extended again. I informed her we were getting ready to sleep in the hotel room and we'd call her first thing in the morning to get ready to come to the bnb to move our luggage.||||Next morning comes, I call Tammy, we check out of the hotel room, and I get a call from Tammy's mother (odd it wasn't Tammy herself?) stating the bnb's water isn't working and we can't come. What happened to the other guests staying at the bnb without water? Were there any other guests? And if I'm your ONLY guest, shouldn't my stay be top priority and my room prepared for my stay in advance? Tammy did call that afternoon to ask if we needed to be picked up and taken from the Regency to the B&B since we had a tour collecting us there (even though our room wasn't available for check in). I politely declined and hoped we would be staying with them the remainder of the week because I wanted to believe in this place (the outside was cute and in a great location downtown).||||The morning on day three (Monday) I call Tammy before check out - NO ANSWER. I have my husband call Tammy's mother, who says she "thinks" the water is back on now at the bnb. No one called us to confirm? It was almost 10 am and at this point, we decided to just stay at the Regency for the remainder of our trip in Alaska.||||I'd like to note that Tammy's mother did apologize and gave us a reduced rate at the Regency as they have a relationship with the hotel, which is truly appreciated, but for our first time in Alaska after being locked out and room less in -15 degrees, packing and unpacking in a state of exhaustion, I was very disappointed in the lack of communication from the B&B.||||Thanks to the Regency for taking us in when we were practically abandoned on our Valentine's Day weekend. You saved our Alaska trip!||||I don't know if this was an unusual occurrence for them as I was told the ownership had exchanged hands from a local tour provider who had used them in the past, therefore past or future experiences by other travellers could be different. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but given our experience, I felt it was necessary to provide our encounter on Trip Advisor.

The Inn itself is very warm and comfortable, with beautiful rooms and sitting areas downstairs. We stayed in the sage room and it was lovely and clean, and a really well thought-out space. The breakfast was good, with variety. The service wasn't great though - we couldn't get hold of the owner to organise an early check-in and nobody was around during the day so we had to just leave our key at the front desk when we checked out, as it was unattended the whole time we were there.

I had reservations at the inn and was hit by 2 "acts of God". I had to go the hospital in Valdez, then was caught in the blizzard the end of May and had to spend 2 nights at a hotel near Danali and could not get to Fairbanks. The owner of this inn blamed not getting to Fairbanks on me and charged me for one night although I had called and canceled as soon as I knew I wouldn't be able to make it. Beware of this place and the owner, Mary. Be prepared for her to take some of you money any way she can.

Location was good, easy walk to main shopping area and attractions. Comfortable room, although a bit on the small side. Nice to be able to meet and chat with other guests over an excellently cooked breakfast. Would be useful to have been given a set of keys each.
