I love coming here! I live all the way in Gurnee and no matter what time of day or day of the week I come, employees are always so nice and helpful. I’m also posting because of how much I appreciate the bakery department! Every time for birthdays in my household I get a cake. I asked the cake decorator I believe her name was Laurie if she could make a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. I wanted to do mountains for his cake since we loved going to the Smokey’s for my son’s birthday. SHE DELIVERED! I honestly loved the cake! I didn’t want to pressure her into doing a crazy extravagant cake because I work in customer service and I just didn’t want to ask her to do a ton of work on a little cake. I’m so happy with my cake and I thank everyone in the bakery for helping make today so special. Thank you Meijer team ❤️

I love the store but the workers are so fun. We drove 30 minutes just to go here. I deal with customers and I know what polite and courteous is. It was just one lady but she definitely left an impression. So great

Great location with many wonderful associates who work here who are always nice and welcoming. Produce is always the freshest which is one reason I stop here the most. Will be back again and again!

I really want to love this place. I would rate it 4 stars if the Exit Receipt border security check didnt happen and I would rate it 5 stars if the inflated meat prices ever came down also. The pandemic is long over, so let's let folks eat normal again. Help me love you, Meijer, instead of just liking you.

4 1/2 Stars. I like Meijer they sometimes have really good deals although prices now are very expensive everywhere. The store is clean, well-maintained. The employees seem to be very friendly.

Store was clean, organized, and well-staffed for a late Sunday afternoon. It's pretty impressive because I can't say the same thing about other big-box stores. The selection was above average and the process for checkout was fast. They even have self-checkout lanes. I'd visit here more often if I didn't live so far.

We go to this store a lot. They have decent prices, and usually have most everything in stock. Sometimes the Round Lake Beach store runs out of popular sale items, but they're often available in McHenry. If you're willing to buy store brands, you can save more, but they don't tend to have a large variety of brands on any item, usually the big name brand, and store brand.
