Small town, so one thinks mediocre food.
Well, this restaurant is No mediocre. From appetizer to Entree, I was not disappointed. Ok, maybe work a little on the house salad.Calamari was top notch.

Wow, where to start? The restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in quincy. The atmosphere was romantic or casual. Whatever your need. The wait staff was excellent. Our drinks never went dry. We ordered an appetizer, and it came quickly! The meals we ordered were beyond excellent. You can tell they have a chef who cares and enjoys what he does for a living. I would visit here for any special event or just because I was in the area. Was probably the best italian meal I have had in years. If you haven't tried this restaurant, you should. They do take reservations, and i'm sure it's needed on a busy evening or for a large group. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Service and atmosphere very good. We went as a couple for dinner. Good place for individuals, families, groups and business meetings. Economical. Bread excellent. Salad pretty good but could have been fresher. Dressing excellent. Wine list very good. Pasta good. Sauce very good. Shrimp very good. Scallops tasted fishy and they didn't remove the tough part. I would go again, but it's not at the top of my list. We were there at the end of March, 2025.

Pretty average experience. The service was mediocre. Our server never introduced himself and did not really engage with our table well. The house salad presentation was appalling as shown in the picture. The pastas were good but nothing stood out as excellent. The tiramisu dessert was probably the only highlight of the visit. Overall, prices were not terribly expensive which was good but for the quality that is understandable.

I highly recommend this place for the atmosphere, service and food. Tiramisu is housed in a beautiful historic building downtown Quincy close to the Mississippi River. It is authentic Italian cuisine with a lively, congenial, family-like atmosphere. The service is friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. My husband said it's the best lasagna he's had in a very long time. They brought out a small panna cotta for his birthday. This is a wonderful place not to be missed. Very busy, even on a Thursday night after Labor Day. A favorite of both locals and visitors. Highly recommend, and will visit again when in Quincy!

I have been a patron of Tiramisu for years; it is my favorite restaurant in town. However, after my experience today, I doubt I will return. My friends and I had a reservation this afternoon and through complete fault of ours, were going to be a few minutes late, so we called to let the restaurant know, and to see if they could possibly hold our table or if we needed to cancel if they could not accommodate us (which would have been no big deal at all). The gentleman we spoke to assured is that it was fine, they could hold our table for a few minutes. We get there, we are seated fairly quickly by a woman who apparently is the owner, then.... She walks over to our table and proceeds to scold us(repeatedly) about being late to our reservation, saying we were putting the restaurant behind and making others have to wait. She also inferred that we were liars about calling ahead to let them know we would be late. Look, all that had to be said was " since you were late we can't accommodate you tonight". End of story. Why seat us then publicly scold us within earshot of other people, like we were children? Unnecessary and embarrassing. We left, even though we were told "you can stay". Who would stay and eat after that? I'm saddened because I truly love the food, it is excellent.

We made this a destination and not a stop so we could experience this great Italian risorante. We are thinking of coming again next week on our way back to Kansas City. I have never had a better veal parmesan. Thick and tender enough to cut with a fork. The ravioli in pink sauce was so tasty. The service was fantastic. Attentive and efficient even though there was a vibrant crowd. The cheesecake dessert topped off the evening in great fashion.
