I have been going to Sixth Sense Spa for the past 14 years! It is my favorite place to get a pedicure. The environment is serene, and the staff is personable, friendly, and professional. The one on one service is like no other place. I highly recommend coming here. They also offer massages and facials!!

Mika is wonderful! Small, unassuming place, but the massage was so effective at getting rid of my migraine.

This spa has an incredible amount of experience within it. Best pedicure anywhere hands down. I never feel rushed, I can tell they want me to be happy with my service and do not stop short of perfection. Also check out the products in the spa, the owner does not carry them or recommend them if she has not tried and liked them herself! Hidden GEM!!

0 stars- will NEVER go back or recommend to anyone
I wanted a no-chip manicure ($40) to ensure that it would last throughout the trip until my birthday. I let her know I will be bringing a gift certificate I had purchased in 2017 and she said it expired. NO WHERE ON THE CERTIFICATE does it say it expires. Plus, it is against state and federal law to have gift cards/certificates expire, especially if it is not disclosed at the time of purchase. She sends me a photo of her new certificates which say they expire in 1 year after purchase, and I had to emphasize to her multiple times that mine does not expire because it does not say. Then, she goes on to say that I can only come in for a regular manicure ($24) because I am using a certificate. Due to a tight work schedule and not wanting to lose the appt, I say ok.
The more I thought about the situation, the more upsetting it was because I still had $40 left on the certificate. I was NOT asking for a free service. I was using the money that I had paid in advance. The next day, I text her back letting her know I would like a no-chip manicure and she says there is no time. I made the appointment more than 1 week in advance for 2:00-2:30 pm online because the site only allows 30min slots, so I ask how long it takes her to do no-chip vs. regular. She responds in a few minutes asking me to come early. I arrive for my appointment at 1:45 pm and she gets started around 1:50 pm after finishing with her previous client. She was done with my nails by 2:18 pm, saying she needs a break.
I tried to be friendly and enjoy my time there because I believe manicures are a form of self-care. However, I couldn’t take my eyes off the way she was doing my nails. The file she was using was supposed to be blue on one side and maybe black on the other side but it was WHITE from all the previous nails they had filed. Especially during times like now, nail technicians should be taking extra cautious measures to keep customers safe. The least they can do is dispose of used files after each client. Throughout the manicure, I kept thinking my two hands were getting different treatments, and based on how the manicure lasted, it is clear they were. For example, my right hand was soaked before "cuticle care" while the other wasn't. She had me briefly dip my left hand in warm water before going straight for the cuticles. I put that in quotes because after showing people my nails complaining of my experience, EVERYONE asked if she even touched my cuticles. There was polish all over the cuticles and my nails were worse than when they went in. They were incomplete and very poorly done. I still tip and leave the salon.
I got my "no-chip" manicure done on a Tuesday. On Wednesday, I was on bed rest due to an upset stomach. By Thursday, my nails were already peeling, especially on my right fingernails (see photos). Out of frustration, I took photos of the two worst fingernails and asked her to do them again. She asked me to come in that day but I had work, so she asked when I could come in. With my departure for the trip being Friday and return on Tuesday, I asked if I can come in on Tuesday to get them re-done. 1. she said she would only fix those two nails I sent photos of (even though I told her the other nails were peeling too) and 2. SHE WOULD CHARGE ME $20. Even a home manicure using polish from Claire's would last more than a day and a half. A $40 no-chip manicure from a "salon" should easily last at LEAST 2 weeks. With how little wetwork my hands go through besides handwashing, no-chip nails usually last 3 weeks for me. ONE DAY is just absolutely unacceptable.

My manicure kept chipping, lifting, and eventually peeling during my trip, which was embarrassing and frustrating. By Sunday, all 10 manicures fell off, meaning this supposed “no-chip manicure” lasted me 1 day on 10 fingers and 5 days looking horrible. The one upside was that I chose a nude pink color because If I got anything that was more noticeable, my hands would have looked even worse. What a waste of time, energy, and money.
