The BEST samosas and sauce I’ve ever had! So fresh and flavorful! The owner and his son (If I remember correctly) were both very sweet. I’ll definitely be trying more food and coming back soon!!

Family owned local cafe. Good place to visit if you are looking for Halal South Asian style chai with snacks. This place is clean, plenty of parking and excellent service.

Went there today on their soft opening day. We ordered their chai, samosa and rasmali dessert. Chai was good, samosa was good and had chicken filling in it (they also have vegetarian option too), felt bit oily though. Highlight of the evening was their rasmali dessert. One of the best I have in Chicago-land so far. They have other options as well, may try their samosa chat next time.

Overall it was an above average experience. If you are looking for chai and snacks late night you will enjoy this place. Loved the pricing, you will spend less than $10 per person on average. I would recommend them.

Great to see another chai place open in the area!! We got some snacks including veg samosa, beef samosa, pani puri along with gulab jaman and kheer for dessert. Beef samosa was delicious and pani puri also pretty good. Kheer was ok (it was pretty runny). We also got Irani tea which was yummy and hit the spot. (They make Irani tea with a little sugar). Overall I would rate them 4.5/5. I would recommend it for a quick snack or tea with family or friends. Enjoy!

Stopped by to get some chai but the samosas and mirchi looked very appetizing so ended up getting that as well. The chicken and beef samosas were very nice and crispy and the meat inside was delicious and cooked to perfection. The mirchi was perfect as well and had the stuffing was very flavorful. Definitely recommend this place

Came across Cafe Nawab and decided to pop in for a snack. Service was good. Restaurant was clean and bright. Food pricing looked fair but we ordered a few samosas (chicken and veg) as a snack.

Overall the snacks pricing was high. Our samosas cost $2 each. This would be ok if they were jumbo. But unfortunately they were small. For reference, they were a little bigger than the samosa you buy from Trader Joe's (see picture). However, the Trader Joe's samosa are $4 for 16. There wasn't much flavor but they were crispy. Unfortunately not the best samosa in the area. Price should be $1.25 for the size... or make them bigger for $2 please.

Something to note... the staff were considerate to ask if they can package the chicken and veg samosas together or separate. This little courtesy goes a long way with vegetarian customers. Much appreciated.

That said, it's probably not fair to rate a restaurant based on one experience so we will try some of the other food and update this rating accordingly. We wish the Cafe Nawab success because the suburbs need more places like this.
