Gerald and I, along with Ivan and his boys, had our first experience together at Fat Ricky’s on the day of Romeo Con, and wow, what a treat! We were starving and looking for something good to eat, and jeeeez, their food did not disappoint.

Everything was made so fresh from the crispy mozzarella sticks to the perfectly grilled hot dogs and juicy burgers

The vibe of this family owned restaurant was super cool and chill, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. For the adults, there’s a section for gambling, adding a little extra fun for those who want to play to win.

Fat Ricky’s delivered on great food, great atmosphere, and great company. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

I have no idea with the snobby reviews but I grew up on Fat Ricky's and I still enjoy it. I thought I had photos from my last dine in but I guess not. We ate a deep dish pizza and it was delicious. We had meat balls, salad, and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were great. I recommend the mozz sticks and meatballs.
**Edit: I freaking love the fried mushrooms. Absolutely my favorite.
Finally got the famous Italian beef and the meat is perfect. It's not paper thin. It's not dry it's perfectly cooked down to when they dip it in the juice to serve. You get good meat to bun ratio. My sweet peppers and hot peppers were on my sandwich and the super beef is massive.**

We sat at a table, probably about 30mins, deep dish takes a while. The wait wasn't too bad especially if you expect to dine in with company. Put your phone down and talk with each other. Time passes. This place does get busy so sometimes expect a wait especially around rush hours like dinner. The employees are kind and attentive. Order at the counter, its old school.

They offer a lot of great deals. We enjoy a lot of their thin crust, it's like Chicago tavern style, pizza. Snack on it throughout the week.
Keep up with their daily deals when they have them. And they also do a football bunch buffet! Great place if you love food.

If you want raw chicken this is the place for you. This is a thin piece of chicken so there is no excuse on this. Manager is definitely a problem solver but had no empathy. He showed no frustration on this and was more worried about my attitude. Won’t be eating here anymore, if it’s not the long waits in the drive through it’s missing items. The food is already just decent but definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Quality really went down! Ordered carbonara to pick up, as it my favorite at Fat Ricky’s and discovered that instead of white creamy sauce, my pasta is swimming in oil and separate crumbs of cheese. That happens only when the sause is reheated and not freshly made! Such a shame for a pasta for $16!
The other day decided to dine with family and waited for part of our order for 45 minutes because they forgot that we have more dishes to come!!! Very terrible service recently!

Church basement brunch would have been better! Quality of the food was beyond mediocre. Tiny plastic cups for juice and water. Paper cups for coffee. Frozen French toast sticks, dried out chicken patties just to name a few. The only decent meal item was the ravioli. Pizza eh. Greasy and cold. Price was $15 pp. sounds like a good deal in today’s economy. Nope. That is way too much $ for what we received. I was hoping to try a new place. We will never come back for brunch and it’ll be a slim chance will return for any Italian dishes. My advice stick with what you do best. Brunch is not one of them.

Order a beef sandwich special with small fry and small pop, 18 dollars. That the first problem, the second problem is that I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes to get the order, unacceptable. Never again! Also ask for sweet peppers, look at photo. Never apologized for the wait either.

Went in the evening with family. Individual orders placed at the counter and were seated in a private room. Deep dish pizza received raves around the table. So did the thin crust pizzas, salads and pastas.

Man, this place was great! They have their own custom blend of meat for the hamburgers. It's a blend of chuck, ribeye, and sirloin if I remember correctly, and when they brought the food out, the arroma makes your mouth water. The owner came out, shook my hand, and introduced himself when I was looking at the menu. He was very polite, and I asked for his recommendation (which led to this amazing burger). It's small things like that that make a restaurant feel welcoming. Speaking of the atmosphere in there was amazing. I will certainly be back, and I recommend everyone give them a try!
