I’ve only been here once for my sister in laws wedding but I have a lot of friends and family that go to Xeno for about 6 years now and their hair always looks great weather male or female hair cuts, dying, or permanently straightening hair treatments they all look so great.

I went to stylists in Chicago and coast to coast until I met Lonny Plowman, owner of Xeno Salon in Rockford, Illinois. For the last fifteen years I have been Lonny’s loyal client. He makes me feel wonderful. I consistently receive compliments on my hair. Lonny is not only a superior hairdresser, he is also personable, caring, and full of positive energy. With every visit you will receive more than a fabulous haircut from Lonny; you will benefit from his insight and become a better, happier person. Lonny is the best!

If I could have given it a 0 I would have. I brought pictures and went over how I wanted my highlights to look and she repeated it back to me and the proceeded to fry the hell out of my hair. I ended up with chunks of highlights that were all different colors, mostly a yellowish mustard color. Worst experience ever. Now, it's going to cost me a fortune to try to get it fixed. Pissed off doesn't even begin to cover it!!!!!

The team that works here is so welcoming and genuinely nice. They deliver not only with their pleasant nature but also their skill. Ryan is excellent! He is receptive and talented at color and cut. I always leave Xeno 1000x better than when I entered.

I adore Ryan! He does such a beautiful job with my hair and knows just what to do. Plus, he has good, positive energy and he's warm and personable. I'm so glad I found such an awesome hair stylist here in Rockford seeing how I haven't lived here very long..

Lonnie did my hair it's growing out from chemotherapy so it had very little color. He chose the colors and he did the cut I absolutely love the style and color. He left some of the natural growth in my hair and incorporated color he was very thoughtful of the he did it. He was very knowledgeable and gave me insight on the beauty parlor and other services they did there. I will definitely be going back. If you choose to go to this salon you won't be disappointed. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. Never a bad day at Xeno

XENO salon is great! I love the fact that they have reminder calls for your appointment a day or two prior! This really helps me as a working mom with two teens. There have been times that I have messed up my appointment times anyway, but that is my fault. The staff have never made feel negative, even though inside I am embarrassed and mortified. I have apologize and tried to make it right with the staff. I use to take my kids to Great Clips, but this place is so much better! Reasonable prices, consistent staff who take the time to get to know you. 5stars x 10 for me!

I am never disappointed when I leave Xenical. Ryan is my stylist and he's amazing. He's always got a smile and is creative, energetic and has great suggestions. The salon has a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
