I was very pleased with our experience here. I had the surf and turf with scallops and my husband had the surf and turf with lobster. They were both incredible. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had awesome flavor! The mashed potatoes that came as the side were to die for! We will be back for sure!

The restaurant was nice.
My only issue was that the food was cold when we received it.

The crab cake was good. I was starting to think I don't like real cakes, but I like theirs.
The flavors of the meal were delicious.

I did not complain because it was a birthday celebration and I didn't want a reheated meal.

Cut 158 is the Jen of Joliet! There is no finer steakhouse in the general area. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The food is completely superb. This visit I went out of my comfort zone and tried the oysters Rockefeller and I can’t wait to go back and have them again. We held our office holiday party there last night and the entire experience was top notch and they could not have been more accommodating.

Fantastic dining experience! One of the best I’ve ever had! Top to bottom from food to service, it was an excellent evening. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. Appetizers came out quickly once we ordered them and the meal was served shortly thereafter. They even comped us our dessert! Excellent experience for my wife and I celebrating our anniversary there. We will definitely be back again. Enjoy!

Also, they have a great bar onsite to have a few drinks before or after dinner.

Outstanding experience. We have gone a few times and have been impressed with the food quality, portion size, service, and the upscale environment every time. A high pricetag, but worth every penny for a great experience to celebrate.

We have enjoyed both the "Surf and Turf" and the "Beef and Reef," and I was incredibly impressed with the Garlic-Herb Rack of Lamb.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant we go here for special occasions. The service is top-notch. The food is delicious and high-quality and the whole experience is just so awesome. The filet melts in your mouth and the garlic mashed potatoes are amazing

If you are looking for a great steak place go to CUT 158. The best customer service and atmosphere. Also, our waiter was outstanding John E. Treated us like royalty. I mean SIMPLY the best. Server was knowledgeable and gave honest answers. Food was wonderful. Steak is great quality their sides were rich and flavorful, and their desserts were perfect, Not too rich not too ordinary. Martinis were so so smooth and done right. Perfect for a date. I’ve been quite critical on restaurants lately however the food and experience for the price was of Great Value!! We WILL be back!
