We had a great weekend at the sanctuary. Paula And Dave were very friendly And helpful. The Breakfasts were amazing. The detail and decor were beautiful. We enjoyed walking in the area, trails, looking at the sculptures. Surrounding neighborhood is beautiful with amazing architecture and old houses. Would highly recommend❤️

My wife and I had a great time at The Sanctuary. Paula and Dave are extremely hospitable. The space was beautiful, relaxing, and enjoyable. It was just what my wife and I needed in a retreat. Paul’s cooking is also amazing! We loved the artwork, books, and games. The hot tub was so relaxing! We will definitely be back!

The experience at this small town is just amazing, they treat you as family and they cook so amazing.

They have two bikes you can use and have a great day of biking around.

The Sanctuary is a special place, top notch and lovely hosts + amazing food. Everything you need to disconnect and renew strength

The Sanctuary is a Gem. An incredible architectural space, very well decorated and the best shower in the Midwest. Dave and Paula are fantastic hosts, great cooks and very down to earth folks.

We spent a lovely weekend there and have already planned our second visit. Our favorite escape.

This was our third time staying at the Sanctuary and we had an amazing time! We love everything about this place. The meals are incredible (ex. one meal we had butternut squash soup, salad with vinaigrette, linguini with sea scallops, and crepes for dessert), the space is elegant and reflective, and the spa shower is legendary! The newest addition was an outdoor hot tub that we took advantage of twice. The hospitality and attention to detail is exceptional. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone needing rest, relaxation, or restoration. We will definitely be back!

I cannot wait to come back here for work lol!! Made a business trip so impactful by giving me a stay that was healing. Having the space to myself to reset & recharge surrounded by the beauty of the stained glass windows it was easy to find motivation to get up and moving everyday after work. The space is incredible, location is walking distance to everything in town, and Paula & Dave are such amazing humans. I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay here was great. The hosts are as wonderful as their building. By far the most gorgeous space we have ever stayed. A large bedroom suite with a large bathroom complete with a "carwash shower". The main space is huge and great for playing music or just spending a quiet afternoon enjoying the sunshine beaming through the large stained glass windows. We will be back for a quiet weekend away.
