I choose this hotel due to the shuttle service and long term parking. However the shuttle should not be advertised as an offered service. For my departure flight there was no shuttle available to account for an early flight. The return resulted in a similar outcome, no shuttle. I called the hotels provided number at least 25 times over the span of 30 minutes and they did not even pick up the phone. I ended up having to pay for an Uber in order to get back to my car. If you are looking into this hotel note the shuttle is “offered”, but only when it wants to be.

The room was nice and spacious and very affordable. It’s right next to a busy road. So, a little noisy.

They were very nice at the front desk. I made a reservation for 2 rooms by accident and they easily canceled the extra and only charged me for the one room.

It’s located within walking distance of the Allstate arena.

Breakfast wasn’t out at 6 am as promised. There was a blue light shining under one of the night tables. They also didn’t say that the parking fee was $19 when I took the parking pass.

Location is excellent, BUT.... Rooms are hit or miss.
Employees and customer service are hit or miss with who you get.
If you have a car? Don't park there or there's a daily fee to park at the hotel.
Need the shuttle? Verify their working hours before your trip!
Bring your own towels if you have kids; or else just make sure not to leave any type of stain on them. They look for little things to add extra charges to so vacationer beware.

ANYONE PLANNING TO PARK HERE FOR A TRIP DO NOT. We planned to leave the car here for a two week trip. Upon arrival we parked the car and went into let them know where we parked. They said the city was doing maintenance in that area so we should park somewhere else. We moved the car and made sure we parked it in an okay spot for our two weeks. We left and upon arriving back we called the shuttle and were told to wait outside for it. It was a windchill of -4 and we asked if we could wait inside for the shuttle and once it pulls up we’ll head out. We were told no we must stay outside. We waited outside for 7 minutes and called again. We asked how long until the shuttle arrived and they said six more minutes. Once again we asked if we could wait inside and were told no we must wait outside because he will not stop unless we flag him down. When he arrived, before he got to us he parked ant the median and waited for everyone to come to the shuttle with out having to be flagged down. We asked him about this policy and he said he stops by 5E always so that people can see the shuttle. We wrote it off and went back to the hotel and immediately went to where our car was parked due to it being so cold. The car was missing. Initially we thought it must have been stolen. We went to the front desk and said our car is missing. The person at the front desk said they had to move the car because of city maintenance and gestured to the rest of the lot on the map and said it should be somewhere here. They not only towed our car without our permission but also neglected to let us that they had moved it. On top of this they expected us to search their huge lot for our car in the freezing weather. Eventually the women called who I assume to be her manager who instead of offering to help us choose to yell at us and said it is not the front desks person fault and she didn’t move it. I understand she did not move it but the hotel is who did it and is responsible for our car while we are gone. Who else are we supposed to go to. Eventually the “manager” decided to help us while still yelling at us and called someone to get a shuttle and drive us to our car. After 5-10 minutes of driving through the lot we eventually found our car parked diagonally across two spots and one wheel off the end of the parking lot. We got in the car went back to the front to get our luggage for the car. Again the “manager” was hostile and not trying to deescalate the situation. All in all we spent $300 to come back and wait in the freezing cold for 15 minutes for the shuttle, come back to a car that had been towed to a different spot without permission or notification, and yelled at by hotel staff for 30 minutes after being told to wander a parking lot in the freezing cold.

Would like to note the shuttle driver and maintenance guy who actually helped were both amazing but the front desks staff was abysmal.

Overall everything was fine. We just had higher expectations for the rooms, hotel, and breakfast as it just wasn't as nice as other Hyatt Place's that we have stayed at prior. Rooms were noisier, an odd smell in the hotel when you walked in, the pool was not clear and you could tell the water was not properly maintained. For the food the bread was stale and not as many food options as other locations. But the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Parking was $20, and an airport shuttle was available. More attention to detail in those areas would have made this stay more enjoyable.

The hotel was quiet and very clean. The airport was very close, and there were a number of restaurants nearby. We had a lovely stay! It was nice to be in a location where we were not bothered by other guests or outside noise pollution. Thank you!

Hotel proximity to Allstate Arena is why I chose to stay here. It's easily walkable and I felt very safe doing so late at night. The room was clean and breakfast was wonderful. The parking situation is absolutely ridiculous though, paying to park in a broken concrete pit is unacceptable in my opinion. They don't have enough parking so you have to "make your own spots" in a back corner that's a mess.

We waited 40 minutes to be picked up by the shuttle, only to be turned away due to lack of space! Do not park here! The shuttle is small and there are better options. We had to take an expensive taxi back to the lot and the Hyatt Place staff would not reimburse us for the cab fare. This was a very frustrating experience!
