On 12/19/24 our flight was canceled after we had been standing on the runway for hours. It had been snowing and it was very cold. We rebooked our flight for 8am the next morning. It was almost midnight and we live more than an hour away, so we decided to stay at a nearby hotel with a shuttle. I have an IHG membership, and we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn O’Hare at Rosemont. We waited outside in the snow and cold for the shuttle to come. The first Holiday Inn shuttle to show up listed Holiday Inn on Cumberland Ave. I asked the driver if he went to the Holiday Inn at Rosemont and he said that he did. I asked him twice before we got on, and he said yes both times. Besides my husband and myself, there were 3 other travelers. ||When we got to the Holiday Inn, an older man started yelling at our driver, telling him he should have been there a long time ago. He made a huge scene, yelling at him in front of all of us in the lobby. My husband intervened and told the older man that he needs to take the argument outside, and that it was inappropriate behavior in front of guests. The older man (identified himself as ‘Marvin’) started yelling at my husband, shouting at him to “shut the **** up, get your keys and go to your room”. Marvin eventually walked out. ||The people in front of us, also from our shuttle, then found out they were at the wrong hotel. Soon, we all realized that we were all at the wrong hotel. We were at the Holiday Inn on Cumberland… Everyone on the shuttle was at the wrong hotel, in spite of us asking the shuttle driver twice if it was the right shuttle. It’s not that we got off at the wrong stop - that shuttle doesn’t go to our hotel, which is on the opposite direction from the airport. The younger driver said he would take us to our hotel, at which point the reception clerk said that he couldn’t do that because he was supposed to take a flight crew to the airport. Then Marvin came back, heard what was going on, and resumed yelling at the driver (I didn’t get his name, but I have his picture, young guy). The driver didn’t say much after that point, other than to flirt with a flight attendant who came down, telling her she looked pretty… The driver just looked at us and smirked while we fumed at him. ||At first the suggestion was that we take the shuttle back to O’Hare and get the right shuttle from there. Marvin suggested that we wait for the shuttle to drop off the flight crew and then they’d take us to Rosemont. In the end, we ordered an Uber to get to Rosemont so we could get a few hours sleep before we had to go back to the airport again. ||All in all we had a horrible experience that night. We were grateful to show up finally at the Holiday Inn in Rosemont, where we were greeted by a wonderful night manager named Kahan. Kahan took good care of us on arrival and made sure we got to our morning shuttle to the airport.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. We enjoy Bar Louie very much for food and night caps. We've stayed here several times and have been quite satisfied every time. There isn't public transit in a close convenient location but it's quick and relatively affordable to take an uber to my son's apartment. The first night of our last stay there were multiple inconsiderate patrons slamming doors at 4am that woke us but that seemed to be an isolated incident.

Do not stay here! My wife and I booked a room here and did the park and fly service. Why we were on vacation we got a call from the Chicago Police(not the hotel) telling us that someone broke out our window and went through our vehicle. We were not the only ones. 20 cars total had their windows busted. The management was not very helpful at all. They only pointed to a disclaimer saying that they are not responsible. We normally park at a secure parking facility and the one time we didn't this happens. Find some where else to stay unless you want busted windows. I took pictures of all the vehicles with busted windows!

This is my third stay here. We like the park and ride feature. The front staff were polite, efficient, and well informed. Our transportation to the airport was clean and comfortable. The food and drinks in the Bar Louie as well as the gift shop are quite pricey. An included continental breakfast would be a nice addition. I WILL be staying here again in the near future.

Room was ok, lobby was beautifully remodeled, room not so much, but they we fine. We paid for the stay, park, and fly for 7 nights. The way to the airport was great, no issues. After we got back from our trip was the where the major problem occurred. We got our bags, called the hotel and asked for a shuttle to come pick us up. We were told 15 mins, no problem, we'll an hour later no one. Called the hotel back again and the front desk lady got really short and snotty with us telling us that they are sending over their "free" shuttle ssrvice to pick us up. I'm sorry but I paid for this service and if you can't figure out how to run it correctly then don't offer the service. We will not be going back here ever.

The hotel is obviously more aged and rundown compared to the rest of the holiday inn that I have stayed. However it is at least reasonably clean and comfortable to stay in if you are in the chicago area and are looking for a cheaper accommodation. There is a metro station within 10 min walk that can take you to downtown chicago in half an hour time

Our room was very comfortable, plenty of space to share with a co-worker. I slept great and even being across from the elevator was not disturbing. The free parking was a big bonus for the trip. Having a high quality restaurant in the lobby meant we did not need to search outside for great meals.

Hotel and staff were outstanding, Bar Louie and in hotel store not so much. Store was not open any of the times we needed it. Bar Louie for Breakfast was pretty good, nice staff. Bar Louie for dinner was horriable. Bartender kept disappearing and service was slow. Chicken tenders were over cooked, cheese curds were over cooked and stuck together. The bacon cheeseburger was OUTSTANDING. Do not like the manditory 18% tip. This might explain the bad service from the bartenders. It took 1 1/2 hours to eat. Way too long, bar was loud with the football game, only 5 other people. Ask to turn it down, bartender did not.
