I read reviews before booking here and was a little nervous but now that I am here, this hotel is great! Huge rooms, beds and sheets are super comfy, shower took a bit to heat up but once it did it was super hot and the water pressure is pretty decent. Mostly excited about the bed and sheet quality. Everything is super clean and the bathrooms are clean and the shower is super nice. So 5/5 for me!

I stayed at the Westin Chicago Northwest with my family of 5 for a long weekend in March 2025. We had a double queen junior suite which was the perfect size for me, my wife, and our 3 kids. I selected this hotel because I needed room for a family of 5 and wanted a hotel with a pool and close to a Metra station. The hotel was nice, service was great and the pool was cool. I have two gripes: the staff at the pool were rude and the coffee was not complimentary. The pool staff claimed they were not affiliated with the hotel and treated the guests with contempt. The pool ran out of towels and the pool staff expected me to find my own towels. I went back to my room and grabbed my own towels (which I was told not to do by the front desk staff), but then another guest at the pool took my towels! The room did have a sad coffee maker, and their was coffee available at the lobby marketplace, but the coffee was not very good and I feel like complimentary coffee is a small convenience that would have elevated the experience.

We stayed at the Westin for two nights as part of a family vacation. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but a few issues stood out. First, the bathroom ceiling fan wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. Second, on one night, the parking lot was completely full due to a wedding event. However, the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to park in the employee lot, which we appreciated. The most concerning issue was the noise from the lobby, which we could hear even from a higher floor, suggesting the soundproofing could be improved. Lastly, for a 4-star hotel, we would have appreciated complimentary hot beverages.

The staff were very friendly and service was great. The hotel was clean and orderly. The room, however, was a different story... maybe request that you don't get put into room 1143. Don't get me wrong - the room was clean and well appointed. But the water in the shower was cold even on the hottest setting. The noise from the elevator is very noticeable and vibrates the wall along the headboard of the bed. The elevators are busy. Even in the middle of the night. This kept me from getting more than a couple hours of sleep both nights I was there, which was desperately needed.

Hotel - the staff were professional and friendly. Check-in was quick and simple, the room was clean and nice. Looks like the hotel is undergoing some renovations, thus you can hear some of the construction noises, so be mindful. The other con factor were the location of the elevators, it's only on one side of the building, they have four, but seems like only 2 are running on a regular basis. The hotel itself, I would give 4 out of 5 stars.

400 Park Bistro - had their breakfast buffet during my stay (2 days). The selection was decent, but they could offered more selections. Huge disappointment had to do with the cold foods they had - their pancakes, biscuits, waffles were cold and stiff unfortunately. I don't know if the burners were turned on or not, but those food items should been thrown out. Thankfully, the eggs, bacons and sausages were hot. You can order omelet with the wait staff as part of the buffet option. The buffet was about $21 per person. The restaurant, I give 1.5 out of 5 stars.

Overall, would stay here again, maybe once the renovations are all complete.

Rooms are not the greatest. I never got hot water in the evenings. The room and bathroom did not have any ventilation. It got extremely hot at night, and the air conditioning was not working.

The staff was incredibly nice. They were trying their best to help out with situations out of their hands. And they were always nice.

One of the best stays I’ve had in awhile. Great hotel in the suburbs close enough to OHare if that’s important to you. The rooms are massive and modern, clean and well kept up. Had a nice view of the Chicago skyline from the room as well. It also had free ample parking which was a nice touch. Great option for someone who doesn’t want to stay downtown. Would definitely stay here again. And the price/value was excellent as well.

One of my favorite staycation hotels. The check-in desk is always upbeat with a friendly warm welcoming attitude. We have stayed here a few times. I come here for the pool and restaurant. The pool area is very clean and cozy. The restaurant has a variety of really good food, it’s a relaxing atmosphere! Makes you want to hang out! Looking forward to visiting this weekend.
