When I was a pre-teen, I couldn't get enough of this place. It was easily my favorite place to eat, I even used to daydream about the dessert pizza, true story. Even after moving out of state and living the next 19 years of my life I STILL thought about pizza ranch and that damn dessert pizza often.
This last month I FINALLY got the chance to revisit my favorite teenage restaurant! It's a shame nothing is ever as good as you remember it 🙃.
Food is still good, not excellent but good. And the kids prices are more than acceptable. But those adult dinner prices are slightly too pricey, $17.54 last I was there (which was just this week). Service is practically non-existent save the friendly cashier who greets you and takes payment, but that's to be expected for a buffet. Oh and that dessert pizza I LOVED as a young man, still delicious! Overall it's a great place to eat especially if you've got small mouths to feed. Thanks for the memories pizza ranch, I hope you stick around to become a favorite of my children.

Update: Today we came in and had exceptional service and the food was amazing. This was our first time coming when they had macaroni and cheese which is the kids favorite. The staff was friendly and polite and really made our day. Thanks for being our frequent place to eat!

We love eatting here. We come like twice a month sometimes three times a month. The kids love to be able to pick out their food and all the kinds of pizza. I love that they get a good meal that I don't have to cook.

I used to like their chicken but the last two times I have got it, it's been disgusting. We got chicken, potatoes, coleslaw and biscuits. The chicken dry, over cooked and just gross all around. The biscuits were over cooked as well. The coleslaw had no taste and looked nasty. They use to be the best. I thought maybe the last time was just an off day. I will not be spending another $80.00 for a disgusting meal again. Learn from my mistake and don't waste your money.

I really loved this place growing up, now the more I come here the worse it gets. literally fruit flies everywhere went to go and get some sweet tea and they were all over. Had to skip multiple tables because of the filth. The freshness of the buffet is lacking majorly. We sat here for a half an hour saw no one take care of plates or the buffet. They definitely need to do better. If you come before the dinner rush don’t expect much.

Giving 2 stars because this location in Roscoe, IL USED to be excellent. Went for a late lunch at 2:30 on a Wednesday. The salad bar was well stocked. But that was all. The soup lid was open, no bowls, and what was left looked very old (see pic). VERY poor offering for pizza bar. Nothing fresh and only about 12 of a variety pieces of old pizzas to choose from. The other buffet table had 5 older pieces of chicken, a few spoonfuls of veggies and gravy, and a pan of very old, glue-like potatoes. (pics)
Disgusting display for a once great buffet!! They were probably short on help, but if you can't offer the regular foods that are normally hot on the buffet, then either charge half price or don't open. $15 per person was absolutely ridiculous for what was offered!! If you go, DO NOT go before 4:00. You will be very disappointed!
** Edit, gave this review 6 months ago and haven't been back. Emailed and left phone messages for the owner and with Pizza Ranch Corporate. Never a return response.

For an all you can eat pizza buffet, there was hardly any pizza out, was there for 45 min and they didn't bring pizza out until about 10.min before we left. No chicken, had to wait for that also. At least the salad bar was stocked! Over 15.00 for a buffet and no food! I won't be coming back!

1st off I have never had a bad experience here and have gone since it 1st opened. But last night will be the last time! Floor was so sticky and dirty as well as carpet. Gross! Pizza selection was horrible, 3 with hot sauce and 1 with jalapeños. 2 others were peperoni and 1 spinach with tomatoes. Not a drop of sauce in the bowl for bread sticks while we were there. Also not 1 biscuit was ever brought out. The bus boy dropped dishes twice and 1 was a glass with ice and soda. He did mop kinda. . But left ice cubes all over the floor. Super dangerous. Also sad to see they close at 7 which we found out when he asked for all our dishes! Many people don't get dinner till 6-6:30. Disappointing evening.
