Great little coffee shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are delicious. Nice hangout spot to talk. I would say food is slightly on the pricier side BUT I think it's worth it. ?

This is a wonderful place for a cup of coffee on a rainy day. It was my first time here, and I had a cup of latte & cappuccino and totally enjoying it. The place has an amazing atmosphere, it is very relaxing, the decorations is warm and tasteful. I would come back here again and again, especially since it is only half a mile from my hotel. It is a bonus for a boring and rainy day in Anchorage, I meant it in a good way and really like this little town.

When visiting from out of town it'd always a gamble stopping at a new coffee shop. We sure missed the mark at Sip Cafe. There was 1 person working bar & teller, 1 person. We were there at 0920 on a Saturday morning. Took over 20 mins to make 2 simple coffees to go. We didn't take a drink until in our car on the road, sure wish we would have tried them sooner. Coffee is weak to the point I actually wonder if the batista forgot to put in the espresso shots.
I highly recommend driving by this place, find something better.

I’ve seen social media advertisements for this place, but never stopped by until this gloriously sunny Thursday morning. Sip has all the style of the best coffee bars across the states and a menu (and execution) to back it up. I enjoyed a straightforward latte with their signature avocado toast. The Kaladi Brothers espresso beans were very pronounced in the latte but not overpowering to the frothy creamy steamed milk. The avocado toast was amazing: thick sliced Texas toast with a slight hint of butter and layered with fresh avocado slices, spices, salt and pepper, and even some sesame seeds. Will be back for sure!

Coffee good. Food expensive for the very small amount served. I ordered a cup of soup which I thought would be good as they claimed it is made by an excellent restaurant in Anchorage. I was misinformed by this. It was mediocre at best.
Now the unbelievable part. This restaurant asked to see my ID before they would serve me a glass of wine. Never in my life here in Anchorage or any restaurant anywhere have I been asked for ID. As I am 89 years old I was stunned.

Went to Sip to try the coffee flight. After waiting for an hour I asked the barista about my order. He said, I thought I might have skipped an order. That’s it! No apology, no refund, no hustle. I waited another 10-15 min for my flight. I won’t be back.
