My first time there yesterday. Loved the ambiance and the service was phenomenal. I had the Reuben and it was probably the best Reuben I have ever had. Loved the mimosas and beer as well. Will definitely be back!

I bought the veggie omelette, and the white blend wine.

Nice place for breakfast omelette, and their waffle was very satisfying, should always ask for real butter never margin.

First time visit, and I absolutely loved it. Service was fabulous and while I was sitting there, I heard some Cajun music come on and was very pleased because I lived in Louisiana for many many years and love Cajun music. They played all sorts of music; the eggs were fabulous, and I had a mimosa, but had it with grapefruit juice instead of orange at my request. Outstanding.

First visit to Cafe Amsterdam on a Sunday morning with family and friends my 4 years old grandson. Easy access and parking. No waiting time. Atmosphere was relaxing and quiet just soft music in the background. Service staff was over the top. Server took time to explained menu. I loved the fact that they were willing to switch sides options. Food was beautifully presented and was delicious. Salad dressing and jam was made in house. Very good coffee and mimosas! I recommend this place.

I have gone to Cafe Amsterdam for many years— when I was younger, it was a special treat meal out with my parents and I am delighted that the level of service, the quality of the food, and the ambiance are all still just as wonderful now as they were then.

What they do, they do very well and very consistently. I like that they took the health of their staff and customers seriously during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic rather than kowtow to those people whose self-entitlement overruled their care for their fellow human beings.

I am shocked that the rating is showing as 3.8/5 stars because Cafe Amsterdam continues to be a stellar place in Anchorage and I hope the community continues to cherish it as should!

This little cafe is great. It's a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. I do like the fact that everything is available to order. Prices was great and the food was delicious. I had a great time and will go back again because the service we got was fantastic. Everyone was super nice.

Servers are nice, and the food and place is amazing! Don't know why this has a low rating but our experience was overall good. Food good, service is very good, ambiance is amazing.

Love the vibe and atmosphere. The food was so good. I'm not even a big fan of waffles but I could eat their waffles every day! Also we loved the European beer selection. The staff was so pleasant and friendly, they made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back.
