Vrooman Mansion has so much historical charm! The antique decor and furniture were beautiful, and the owners were lovely and gave us an awesome tour of the house. Our room was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. Came with lots of complimentary snacks/treats and toiletries. Breakfast was my favorite part of the entire experience! Had a delicious quiche and baked pear. Great way to celebrate an anniversary weekend.

Our stay at the Vrooman Mansion was incredible. From the time we arrived and the staff knew my name, to the delicious breakfast in the morning, everything was just a dream. The staff really takes care of you and are very knowledgeable about the history of the entire place, it was amazing to listen to them explain everything. The rooms are incredible as well, and I loved that they encouraged us to walk around and check out the other suites if they were open. I had such an amazing time, I truly want to go back and stay in every single room!

To stay in a mansion and live the history was a joy. The home was spectacularly beautiful! To be able to sit on the furniture and touch every artifact was an exhilarating, surreal experience! The bedroom was comfortable, calming & relaxing. The staff felt like family and accommodated us and our every need. Breakfast was a culinary delight!

We had a wonderful weekend trip at the Vrooman Mansion. The room, the food, the immaculately kept Mansion and grounds and the welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts made our stay perfect. We loved learning about the history of the house and we will definitely be back!

The room was well appointed and the bed was so cozy. We didn’t want for anything and the snack closet was a great touch. They had wine glasses and bottle opener for our wine along with water and coffee for the next morning. The breakfast was different and fabulous. Will recommend Vrooman to anyone looking for a b&b.

This is a great old mansion with truly important history. Very fun place to stay and beautifully kept. It's not cheap but you get a superb breakfast with the deal. I stayed in Lelita's Suite. It's huge. My only complaint is that the bed faces the door and the door has a clear glass transam window above it. The hall light was on all night and the light from it flooded through the window and onto my bed all night. Brightest place in any of my 3 rooms. Another issue is the quality of tap water in the Bloomington-Normal area. Happy to say free bottled water is offered to guests. I skipped a morning shower. This isn't the hotel's fault, but something to be aware of.

I come here at least once a year and this time it was for my bachelorette party. No one else has ever been so i was excited to share this experience with them. We stayed in the Carl room and it was clean and nice as always. The staff is always super nice and since it was the other girls’ first time there we took a mini tour and everything was just amazing. I love coming during Christmas time for all of the trees and decorations. It’s usually the time i always come. The breakfast is always so delicious. And i can’t wait for my next stay next year!
