I cannot begin to describe how happy we were with Metropolis Ballroom for our wedding. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and it fit our style perfectly. We had 140 guests, but the venue definitely could have fit more! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place which was so nice that our guests did not need to travel! The bridal suite and grooms room were both at the venue as well which was so convenient! What really set this venue apart from the others was the team. Rachel Herrera was our Event Producer and she was absolutely amazing. From start to finish she was great to work with! We booked our venue a year out and she was extremely organized, responsive with her email replies, accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable. She provided great insight and suggestions to help ensure our day was as successful and wonderful as it was. On the night of our wedding, Rachel was onsite and as supportive as ever! She also had a Banquet Captain, Mauricio, who was fantastic to work with. Guests are still raving about how great the food was. We were so pleased with the presentation and the quality of the food! We could not be happier with Metropolis and the team that helped create and execute our wedding. We are forever grateful and we would highly recommend this venue and their team to anyone!

We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Metropolis Ballroom!! We booked this venue very early in the wedding planning process because we absolutely fell in love with the space, and how it's multi-functional which was a huge selling point for us. We loved the layout of the venue from the wood beams, the string lights, floor to ceiling windows, and having a patio overlooking downtown Arlington Heights was such a plus. Rachel was so helpful from the beginning. She really made us feel like we were a part of the planning process and went above and beyong to answer all of our questions, even making changes the week of the wedding. She truly is amazing at what she does and if you have a chance to work with her she will go the extra mile for you! She was so kind, professional, efficient and communicated very well with us and our family. The food was excellent!! We had many guests say how great the food was! It was so nice to have many options and the tasting was such a good experience. Their customer service is top notch!! Their staff really did an amazing job throughout the day and making us feel our best on our wedding day. The bridal suite was so beautiful, I'm grateful that we had that space during the day/night. We are so glad that we chose Metropolis Ballroom as our wedding venue as it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much to all the staff and Rachel for being the best coordinator!!!

Metropolis Ballroom hosted our wedding reception earlier this month and it was beautiful! The planning process went smoothly from the beginning. Anita was extremely accommodating and attentive throughout: we had several guests with dietary allergies and within a few weeks of the event, Anita worked with me to select plated dinners instead of the buffet that was offered to the other guests. I have heard from several guests since the wedding that the dinner was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for us and I felt that the event was in excellent hands and I could enjoy the evening without any worry. Thank you!

Metropolis is a great location and a beautiful venue for any occasion. They have multiple room sizes for all occasions so whether your event is an intimate gathering of a few friends or big celebration for hundreds of relatives, they have something that will fit your needs. The entire staff is top notch. I've had the pleasure to work closely with the special event producer, Anita, and she is absolutely fantastic! Her entire team goes above and beyond to make each event worry-free. As one of Metropolis' vendors, I have heard nothing but positive feedback from my clients. Metropolis is truly a fantastic experience and should be your go-to venue to create lasting memories for any special occasion.

When my husband recently passed, it was clear that a funeral wasn't his "thing", and we opted for a Celebration of Life instead. This is not an easy event to organize, you want to hit just the right notes of sorrow, and yet joy. The decor has to be subdued but not depressing, the ambience respectful but also casual, warm, and welcoming. I do not know how to thank Anita, the Special Events coordinator at the Metropolis Ballroom, enough. She helped us get everything EXACTLY RIGHT, and did it all with a gentle kindness that was exactly what I needed at that most difficult time. The event was amazing, the venue could not have been more perfect, and I happily give Anita and the Metropolis Ballroom a full five stars. May all your events be for joyous occasions!

Anita at Metropolis Ballroom was wonderful to work with! She is very detail-oriented and walked us through everything about our wedding day, from big things to the small details. She was ALWAYS available via phone or email to answer questions and help us as we planned throughout the year. She understood our vision and helped make it happen, while calming my nerves and guiding us through everything we needed to do. Plus she is very kind and personable, making it a great experience! The whole Fox + Ivory team loves working at Metropolis Ballroom! Right in the heart of Downtown Arlington Heights, Metropolis Ballroom has it all. From a spacious, beautiful bridal suite to beautiful vaulted ceilings. There is never a shortage of locations nearby for portraits and in case of bad weather there are few venues as wonderful for indoor portraits. If you are considering a suburbs venue we can't recommend Metropolis Ballroom highly enough!

I booked the Metropolis Ballroom for our company Christmas party and the event was perfect. I cannot thank Anita Bunce enough for making this event absolutely perfect. From our initial consultation to the final moment, Anita was incredibly helpful, professional, organized, and her attention to detail is impeccable. I also have to give credit to the staff at Metropolis, they are the nicest and most professional people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They make it so easy for you, as the host, to enjoy yourself as they make sure everything is running exactly the way you planned. The hall itself is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious. You cannot go wrong by hosting your event at the Metropolis Ballroom.
