I booked a homecoming updo online. The service is described as $90+ for a 90 minute appointment. My fault for booking late, but we did not have our choice of professionals. HOWEVER, I went ahead and booked with a person I didn't know because the salon has a good reputation, so I assumed it would be OK. It was not even a little bit OK. We were charged $95 for the 90 minute time slot -- even though she was done in less than an hour, and my daughter's pony tail looked like a founding father -- no teasing, no lift, and it was super tight. FAR from the Inspo picture. I really wanted to throw a fit in the salon, but I didn't want to upset my daughter, the other patrons, or the stylist when I know she has to pull it together and take care of other clients. The only saving grace was that the appointment was early, so we were able to have a friend fix it in time.

There are other salons who notify you that you are booking with a new stylist before you commit, and they charge less for their services, which is fair -- an apprentice should make less than a journeyman -- and this is why. She charged me over the minimum quote online, and we didn't even come close to the full 90 minute appointment, nor were we satisfied with the end product.

I had my makeup done by Jenny for my birthday and she really helped make my day a special one. She made sure I felt super comfortable & that I left feeling confident. The time passed quick with many laughs & helpful tips on makeup and how to apply it as well. She’s very careful that she’s delivering exactly is wanted, knowing that everyone has their preferences. I’m VERY indecisive so when I sometimes didn’t know what I wanted, she explained and showed how it would make a difference depending on my decision which helped me a lot. There were a few times I let her decide, letting her know I trust her work. She never disappointed! There wasn’t one thing that I left her chair wanting to change and my makeup lasted from morning to the middle of the night when I went to sleep. Thank you Jenny!! 🩷

Staff is super friendly! Diana never disappoints on any service I get with her. She always gets me right everytime and always ensure that I liked the service I received before letting me leave. & Always takes my hair needs into consideration. Highly recommend her!

I got my hair cut and styled by Emily yesterday. I wanted to get quite a bit cut off the length and Emily made sure to let me know that she was accommodating for the waves that I have to my hair. She took her time to ensure that the cut was perfect! At the end she asked me if I wanted to be styled with a round brush or diffuser... most stylist that I have gone to don't bother asking. I highly recommend Emily and Beauty Bar.
