I rented the Light Lounge for my husband's Memorial. I found it to be a lot less depressing and cheaper than going with the funeral home. The owner was very kind, accommodating, and even helped set up. I paid a small extra fee to open the attached upstairs bar (Vern’s Tavern) early. Totally worth it. Absolutely no complaints. A few days later, I got this email from the owner....

On behalf of myself and everyone at Vern’s Tavern and The Light Lounge, I wanted to extend our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved husband. It was truly an honor to host the celebration of life for someone who was clearly so special to so many people.
Steven’s love for his family, generosity, and humor shine brightly through the memories everyone was sharing. In just the short amount of time I spent around everyone, I could tell that his legacy as an extraordinary husband, brother, cousin, father, and friend will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who knew him.
We are deeply grateful that you chose The Light Lounge as the space to remember and celebrate Steven’s remarkable life. Please know that you are in my thoughts

Great place to rent for a venue, the bartender tonight was absolutely wonderful, I regret not getting her name. We had my Grandpa's memorial service here tonight and everything was wonderful. She helped us set up and everything was so clean and it smelled wonderful in there. 100/100
