We are new to the area and this is our first time here. We enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is nice, service was great. Food came out a little slower, however it wasn’t much slower than traditional fine dining. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our cocktails were good. Would be a nice place to just grab an app and a couple cocktails for date night too. We love beef carpaccio and while the presentation was nice, it was cut a bit too think and was served so cold it had a frozen crisp to it. Overall though great experience and we will be back.

Just had a wonderful dinner here while in town for the 32nd Annual Showcase of Excellence Jazz Band and Show Choir Competition. We did call earlier in the week for a reservation, which would be highly recommended.

For starters, we very much enjoyed the Hawaiian Aho Tuna. For entrees, we enjoyed the Mahi Mahi Special, 6oz Peppered Bacon Wrapped Filet, Medium Rare, and the Ribeye, Medium. For sides, the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and, from our server's recommendation, the Scalloped Corn. Entrees come with either a House Salad or Soup du Jour. The Muddog Soup was a Seafood Medley bisque and was divine!

Everything was cooked to perfection. We wished we would have planned better as we did not have room for dessert. Looking forward to visiting again when coming through town. The atmosphere has a very low key vibe of professionalism and conversation. The patrons all seemd to enjoy the quiet atmosphere to work their way through the menu and conversation.

I recently dined at BoodaLu for the third time, ( as we don't live in the area), and overall, it was a good experience.

Food – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
The food was outstanding! Every one of our dishes was well-prepared, flavorful, and exceeded expectations. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was excellent. Definitely a spot I'd return to just for the food alone.

Service – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
The service was good—friendly and attentive staff who made sure we were taken care of. However, there were a few small hiccups the previous time we dined there where the waitress had a snarky demeanor, but nothing that would deter me from coming back.

Atmosphere – ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5)
The atmosphere was okay but could use some improvement. Whether it was the lighting, seating arrangement, or noise level, something felt a bit off. It wasn’t bad, just not as inviting or comfortable as it could be.

Overall, I’d highly recommend BoodaLu for the amazing food and solid service. If they work on enhancing the ambiance a bit, it could be a truly top-tier dining experience!

What more can you say... Boodalu should be the Quincy staple. Awesome ambiance, great drinks, phenomenal menu, and of course, amazing staff. Try the muddy dog soup, wedge salad, jalapeno cheddar grits and the filet. Cant go wrong. This place has definitely changed since Zach started manning the ship. Its friendly, casual and a great time, with good people, and great food! Definitely worth a night out.

The restaurant is perhaps just a tad too dark but that is literally the only thing I would change. The fillet was cooked perfectly. Beef Carpaccio appetizer was spot on. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food comes out at perfect increments. Even the bread was delicious. The restaurant was not noisy and did not feel crowded. You can have conversation easily with your fellow diner(s). Parking is easy. I would highly recommend this place especially if you are feeling it is a steak night or you just want to step it up.

The steak filet was PERFECT! Perfectly cooked & the taste was amazing!!! All the sides were excellent!!! Great ceasar salad, twice baked potato, brussel sprouts!!! The cheesecake was excellent; 2 choices that were both delicious. We will be back again soon to enjoy the food, atmosphere & waitstaff. Thank you for a perfect evening ❤️

Thai meatball appetizers...fabulous! Salads were fresh & crisp. Fresh bread out of oven with real butter. Steaks were done to perfection. House vegetables & twice baked potatoes were a taste bud explosion.
Each course was timed perfectly & staff was phenomenal!!!
It's upscale & so expect to pay for that. Well worth every penny 👌
