I normally love this place! But today I ordered a child's spaghetti which came with a half loaf of bread. My only issue today is the lack of sauce vs pasta. There was barely enough sauce to cover the pasta much less dip that bread in.

Upon entering the restaurant,noticed a feeling.of vast emptiness.The. prices was quite high but large portions.Had to go to counter to pick up food.
Garlic bread was cold and unflavored.We didn't eat them.The spaghetti was warm but ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING.
WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Love this place. Hot Cillian burnt is the vmbest thing to order. Murdered in cheese and cooked so the bread had a crunch!

What happened ? Use to be get great spaghetti buckets here. Tonight was over cooked pasta, much less sauce and was just blah. Not what we use to get here. Very disappointing

Always a favorite..... Not anymore.

Update:
It's been a very long time since I've eaten here. They moved to a new location. I'm not sure if ownership changed. Tonight, we ordered 3 of the half gallons of spaghetti and 3 loaves of garlic bread. The service was fast and the workers were very nice. The bread was actually still good. Unfortunately, the spaghetti noodles were like mashed potatoes in your mouth. So disappointing. The sauce in the bowls was so scarce. It only lightened the noodle. It tasted like plain, squishy noodles with a slight saucey flavor. This was a favorite of mine since the 80s. I don't think I'll ever return there again. So sad. 😭

Maybe I'll try one more time give them a chance at redemption. Mistakes happen, and it may have been a one-time fluke. Maybe there's a new cook, and (s)he accidentally boiled the noodles for far too long.

I am in the PNW now but I grew up here and even worked at the original location on north 12th as a kid late 80,s early 90’s. This place is still family run and still has the same menu. I’m a fan favorite of the hot Sicilian. My go to every time I visit. Love it or hate it this place is an institution and if you really want to eat at a place all the locals know and I promise you have eaten at one time or another this is the place.

Quincy tradition, missed out on the all you can eat spaghetti and garlic bread due to time constraints. Went to the new location on south 12th. I've been with them since the 1st location on north 12th. Glad to see somethings never change. Keep up the tradition, good food, good people. Oh and we had to get 6 Hot Sicilians for the road!
