I used to enjoy coming here. I am local to the area but sometimes my husband and I like to book a room and enjoy time to ourselves. We work in the restaurant business so we decided to book a room the Monday following valentines day since we both worked on valentines day. We get there and the woman tells us that there's a 500 dollar deposit for people who live within 30 miles of the hotel. We only keep enough money in the bank to pay bills and we put money in to get the room. . . So, we didn't have 500 in the bank. We were not informed of this over the phone. The woman said, well there's a sign. How can we see the sign from over the phone?! I'm NOT going to put a 500 dollar deposit down for anything, let alone a hotel room. Paid less of a deposit for our camping trip over the summer. I usually bring my kids to stay at a hotel for their birthdays and was considering bringing my son this month, not now!! By the way, I don't just randomly post bad reviews, but this was irritating and a waste of time!

Beautiful place to stay, currently going through a renovation but still very affordable and easy to get into. Love the bar located in the center of the courtyard inside. Very friendly workers, very helpful.

The hotel has been a absolute nightmare the fridge does not work half the hotel is under construction can not use a crockpot or air fryer or you will be charged $500 they have not tried to get us a replacement for a fridge then we have found out two other are in the same situation. Stay away from this disaster

Ashley at front desk was very nice! Great job!

I'm surprised they were putting people in the rooms they were due to the amount of construction you have to walk through to get to the rooms. You go through taped off areas, walls and carpets all covered for dust, air purifiers in hallway to help with construction dust (I think that's why it was out). The room you get too is nice, not yet updated from what I could tell, but comfortable and clean. Construction noise was not an issues but my parents initial room had too strong a smell of paint thinner and plaster dust to be acceptable (not yet under construction, just so close to construction). Some construction rooms were left open and we peeked in - they are doing a full gut to the studs of the rooms.

Pool area - fine. Nothing special. Plenty of seating for our large group. Atrium area echos a lot, and is not separated by doors/glass, so if anyone is playing in the pool it quickly gets loud. Outdoor seating and grills next to pool as well.

Breakfast was mediocre during week, better on weekend. Yogurt, prepackaged juices, bagels and otis spunkmeyer muffins during the week. Saturday had eggs and sausage that were basic but very good.

Overall, price per night price we paid is not a 4 star place but nothing wrong with it for right price (~125/night max).

Positive: Hotel employee at the front desk was great! Negative: With the level of construction on the 3rd floor, I'm really surprised they were having guests stay there. There was a tent we had to walk through to get to our room, the floors and walls are completely stripped down.

We had a very nice, clean room with a comfortable bed, no odors, and good shower. The atrium area is very nice although the cool white light bulbs and 24-hour Price is Right game show noise from the TV take down the elegance level a bit.

The pool was nice and very warm. Pool towels were available. No problems with wifi.

Only disappointment was that the advertised managers reception is no longer available, and the breakfast offerings have been pared down to a bagel bar with a few cereals and yogurt. That's fine, but the website should be changed.

Its a black guy at front desk during the night time very passive aggressive like he don’t want to be there during his shift i was locked out for bout 30 mins he was no where to be found once i finally seen him walk pass he says oh my fault yes sir your fault no one answered the phone i was just there for 30 mins they have a sign on the door 10p-6a the doors would be like and to call the gentlemen did not do either , very un safe it’s like we have a curfew

Nice place. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. Great water pressure in the shower but the showerhead was level with my chin (I'm 6'5"). Bagel bar with cereal and toast with a nice selection of bagels. My room was very quiet, I never heard anything from the adjoining rooms or the hallway. Overall a very nice experience. No smart tv's, but they have DirecTV if you like watching television.
