It was a nice little place, unfortunately it was right off of the main street and the street traffic, noise, and light we somewhat of a nuisance. The bathroom was extremely small but it was clean. The attendant was very friendly. Breakfast was small but good. It's cozy little nuke. I would stay again.

Oh, what a "wonderful" experience. From the TV only having 3 channels, to the wafting of cigarette smoke every minute of the day, to the offer to upgrade to a non-smoking room for an extra $50. And it gets better.

But seriously, there is no reason to EVER stay here. I would have felt better sleeping in the alley behind a strip club.

Very poor experience. No room darkening shades with street lights right outside the window meant a very bright room even in the middle of the night. It was very noisy with constant traffic and sirens passing at street level. The bathtub faucet ran constantly and was not able to be shut off. And the property smelled of marijuana.

The room was very clean and cozy. We asked for a blanket and it was brought right up. Nice a quiet at night. The price was very reasonable
I would prefer a room on the back side of the hotel next time because you could here some of the traffic. It was very easy to find.We will definately be back.

The rooms were ok, a little run down but it was fine for the price. The bad part was the overwhelming smell of pot throughout the hotel. All the common spaces were filled with the smell. Not just a light whiff, like 5 people were standing next to you smoking. The hotel also ran out of soap. They gave us extra shampoo to wash with.

The pool area smells sewage. When staff came in to clean the room, they took all towels and washcloths, but never left any clean ones when they did come in to clean the room. They didn’t even vacuum not much of a breakfast selection either pretty expensive for what they offer Internet is spotty as well.

The customer service here was excellent! The room was as clean and ready for us after a great busy fun day with family. The breakfast was good. My family and I had biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, sausage and juices. It was located next to a busy road but it was so quiet inside the hotel and near some great shopping centers, restaurants and attractions.

A disappointing AmericInn experience. In the past, I stayed at an AmericInn location in Madison, Wisconsin. My experience at that location was the best 2 or 3-star hotel stay I had in some time. Therefore, I was really looking forward to another stay at an AmericInn...

Unfortunately, the best part of my experience at the Quincy, IL location was check-in and check-out. The front desk staff was super great to work with, even letting me check in a little early. However, it was downhill from there. The below is a summary of the issues:

-The room had a musty smell
-No shower curtain for the shower (woman at the front desk ended up getting me one and installing it for me)
-No gym
-Two separate housekeepers knocked on my door prior to 11 am checkout, asking when I was checking out
-The complimentary breakfast was an absolute joke. Stale cereal, no hot water for the oatmeal, no drinking water, small sausage links were the only hot food item, etc.
