How in the holy hell does this happen?
Disgusting rooms, hair in the shower, and even worse, dirty sheets. Everything was filthy as management kept changing rooms. One room smelt as if it was right out of a Law Order crime scene. Another room had a wet substance attached to the sheets that attached itself to the occupant of the bed. I can not, in good faith, recommend anyone to stay here.

The other picture was deleted. It was from the Quality Inn Ottawa. This review is for Peru, the Quality Inn that housed traveling softball from Friday, April 11th through Sunday, April 13th. The same Quality Inn right across the street from McDonald's!

The front desk clerk that checked me in was so friendly. I'd stopped by before check-in and asked to get a first floor room and she assigned it to me. It had a huge bathtub that I was happy to relax in. I was checking all the drawers to make sure I didn't leave anything and there was an old dried out Casey's box with an old apple pie in the drawer. It can be easily missed by housekeeping but I just wanted someone to know.

Matt from the evening shift was very kind, professional, and helpful. He went above and beyond!
Couple of observations...
- coffee was terrible. Like really bad
-beds and pillows were super clean and incredibly comfortable
-hot water got nice and hot quickly
-pool was really cold but clean
-complimentary breakfast was not good. Options were white toast, 2 different dry cereals, waffle maker, yogurt, and microwave breakfast burritos
- location was close to everything and lots of different food delivery options

The staff was friendly and check in and out was easy. Room 303 had some problems. I ignored the large area of missing finish on the front floor of the bathtub. Although this room was clean, this made the bathtub look icky. I should have asked for a different room, but we had already started unloading our stuff after a long drive. After the toilet was flushed the second time, the chain fell off. I "fixed" it but after the 4th flush, it fell off again, and again....Husband rigged it with a rubber band. We reported it in the AM. Hopefully the toilet was fixed and assigning the room was halted until the tub could be refinished. Breakfast room had a waffle maker and microwave Jimmy Dean breakfast croissants and some kind of heatable wrap. Yoghurt, cereal and the usual drinks. This hotel will not be on our repeat list.

Truck broke down, stayed the night here. Matt ( night shift) and Vickki (day shift), were so personable, they put a smile on my face. Thanks you two for making my stay pleasant.

Stayed here 2 nights first night go to sleep.Went downstairs to try and ask the front desk button.At 1 AM, lady was passed out.Looked like she was dead at the front desk.Wasn't gonna bother her cause.I didn't want to find out if She was Dead when to do a load of laundry won't Do That way Over price machines for machines that Look Like they're Older than the motel.What a joke

Some of their employees have staring problems. Couldn’t even have breakfast in peace without them just staring at me. Lastly my sibling had went up to tell some employee about how they had left the cards for them so that we could check out and all she said was “okay 😐” with an attitude, It would have been nice to have smiled or said thank-you at the least.

This is a nice quiet place. Very clean and comforting. *** Vicky or Vickie (not sure) is an excellent host and front desk clerk. Helped me settle my bus where I could see it. She knew I was leaving early the next day and took care of me. Incidentally, the July 15th Derecho storms/tornadoes were firing all around us and I had to get sleep in order to be up early the next morning. Vickie assured me if there were storms, they would wake us and bring everyone to the lowest floor.
