Recently stayed here for a night with my medium sized dog and they were very dog friendly. The hotel had a scenic view of the river and was clearly recently updated with a nice modern style. It was quiet, comfy, and even offered complimentary beverages, snacks, and light breakfast items. Will likely be coming back to stay when in the area!

The hotel itself was really nice, there were extra blankets, towels, plenty of coffee, and other amenities I didnt expect! The staff was very kind and accommodating and they even had a large variety of breakfast foods and other snacks. It is pet friendly and our dog was very comfortable and had plenty of space. We would definitely stay again.

What a gem! We searched online for hotels with a view of the Illinois River and found this great place. I called for reservations and asked for a room with the best view of the river. I was quite happy when we arrived. Quite scenic, in a quaint, little town. Right on the river with a fantastic view from our room and balcony, which had a small table and chairs. We enjoyed some relaxing time there, both day and night! The photo with the tug boat was taken from the room balcony.
The room featured a comfortable king bed with a couch, a stocked kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cook top, and breakfast bar. It was very clean and seems to have been remodeled recently. Wall mounted TV with free cable provided.
Free, Continental Breakfast was provided in the lobby starting at 6am with a good choice of cold foods, milk, water, and juices. Vending and ice machines are also available. Very reasonable rate. I would stay again.

This old hotel has certainly had a beautiful, modern face-lift. We stayed there one night, was able to make reservations and check in within an hour, so easy to do! The balconies overlooking the river and able to see sun rise or set in a beautiful atmosphere that was clean and quiet. The freebies in the lobby made my heart happy.....popcorn and banana slushies!!! Who does that? Henry Riverbank Hotel. If you will be staying in the area I encourage you to reserve now bc it will fill up. I definitely know where we will be staying when visiting. Thank you!!

It's really great to have this hotel here. My family lives in the area and I visit my elderly father from out of state and it's so convenient and pleasant at this hotel. The little touches make such a difference. The offered snacks and homemade pastries in the lobby, along with the beautiful hanging flower baskets out front are so appreciated. I'm glad to hear they are replacing the doors on the rooms. I felt very safe, but better doors and locks are a must.

This hotel has completely transformed. Janelle the owner is accommodating and sets the friendly standard. Holly, Hailie, and Chloe are outstanding friendly staff, and work hard to keep the rooms clean and well supplied, and make booking a breeze. My mother is elderly and physically disabled, and they even supplied her with a shower chair!

The hotel has become a hallmark of Henry’s revitalization under their care and you would make the best choice to stay here when visiting the river valley!

"Local Gem" that everyone puts in their review is spot on. Place is a survivor and not perfect. Room was polish perfection clean. No complaints with the bed. Couch was very nice. Decibels on AC unit were very low. Balcony and view are lovely.

Stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The rooms are completely brand new--we had a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, living room, patio, and it was beautiful and clean.

The owners and staff were exceptional--any time they saw us they were asking if we needed anything, how is everything, etc. Great people and they treated us like family and my kids loved it here!

If you are looking for a place to stay anywhere in the vicinity of Henry, this is where you need to stay. We'll definitely be coming back next year!
