Stayed at this place for 4 nights and honestly, I’m super happy with it so far. First off, the staff is super friendly. The hotel is clean, and there’s a restaurant right on the first floor, which is super convenient—no need to go far for food.

The breakfast is legit amazing with some unique stuff like black bean veggie patties, cage-free scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, French toast, and this really cool mix of potatoes—sweet potato, purple potato, and regular ones all together. There’s also mixed cheese, salsa, bacon bits, fruit, yogurt, berry mix, granola, and some pastries too. Overall, it was really good and way better than I expected.

On top of that, the location is insanely convenient. I was honestly surprised the price wasn’t way higher, because with this kind of location, you’d expect to pay way more. Super happy with my stay and I’ll definitely come back to this hotel next time.

Right next to the fire department. Some of the lights/outlets don't work. Great view. Very cozy. Maria took care of us at breakfast very sweet. Breakfast was pretty good. In other words, my experience here was awesome. This is a great place to stay while in Chicago.

Rooms are so clean and services are perfect.
Maria was doing a great job and she is so friendly and spreading positive energy and she was working all the time without complaining.

Javier was a good help as well.

The front desk people ( the receptionists) were so helpful and explained everything to us when arrived.

Definitely I will come back to this hotel when coming back and visit Chicago again.

This Hyatt Place is doing everything great. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is superb. I want to highlight the hospitality of both Maria and Santosi in the dining area. Both of these people made this feel like something more than a hotel breakfast. So I can conclude the people are what makes this place work.

Great location and great view from the rooms. The breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious The hotel is walking distance from all the tourist locations and Michigan avenue. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend Hyatt Place Chicago/River North.

Our stay at the Hyatt was amazing!!! My boyfriend and I wanted to have a sweet staycation over my spring break and selected the Hyatt Place River North Hotel for its affordable prices, beautiful city views, highly rated breakfast, and convenience in booking. I’m so relieved to say everything exceeded our expectations. The host’s really elevated the experience as D’angel and Jessie were inviting, compassionate, and genuinely made us laugh. Overall the service was more than 5 star hospitality as they accommodated a specific situation for us booking and went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, breakfast was AMAZING, and they offer complimentary wifi and a decent sized fitness center. It’s safe to say I’ll definitely be back to the Hyatt and couldn’t be more happy with my stay!
