We travel to Chicago quite a few times a year. We typically stay in AirBnBs because we haven’t found a hotel we love. Until now. The check in process was seamless, they have cold water and cookies in the lobby, and free drinks in the fridge! There is a 90s karaoke bar and a rooftop one. The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but it makes up for that with the outstanding service and free amenities. We will stay here again for sure!

I'd never needed a hotel in Chicago. I used some work mandated travel app that hated me for scheduling my travel the day before I had to leave. The app kept telling me everything I was picking broke the rules, and finally recommended the Robey. I'm so glad it did. I love this place. The loft annex, where I stayed, has these great industrial inspired rooms. Think concrete, steel, and wood. I loved that, but moreover, I loved the feel of the entire hotel. Its location, it's look, the Robey Café, it was all perfect for me. If you like cheese, get the whipped ricotta at the café, I'm still embarrassed at how quickly I ate it. The staff I encountered, they were happy and nice, like seriously, they seemed like they were all having good days everytime I spoke to someone.

I came here for work, but I will come back for personal adventures. This area has some amazing restaurants, bars, and life. I am beyond pleased with my stay at the Robey.

Wonderful stay! First-rate bed linens, products (shampoo, body lotion, etc.), staff, room decor, (HUGE) bathroom, terrific streaming speaker (!), 50 yds from a Blue Line station, too! A perfect stay and perhaps the greatest value I've had in a major American city. Bravo Robey!

The Robey was an incredible experience! The setting was sophisticated and inviting, with beautiful city views. The service was exceptional, and the cocktails were expertly made. My companion and I shared a fantastic supper made with fresh, aromatic ingredients. Perfect place for a night out—highly recommended for its fantastic atmosphere and hospitality!

I love this hotel! It's a beautiful building with antique-style decor, and the location is the best! There are tons of dining options around here. I was impressed with the friendly staff and room amenities. While the room is small, it has many amenities: free new slippers, bottled water, beer, soda, laundry bags… everything you want! The room was clean and well-maintained.
I will definitely come back!

Great location. Great rooms and service. Rooms are small if you compare them to non-city hotels but in comparison to anywhere else in Chicago. Rooftop bar has great views.

Quite a nice place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable with charming interior design. Bathroom fixtures are a little worn and leaky. Lobby staff were friendly and attentive. The cafe on the first floor had good brunch fare and great service. The casual bar on the second floor was not crowded with good drinks and atmosphere. Sound from the El was audible in the room, but not obtrusive. Safe location on the border of Bucktown and Wicker Park. Several shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We had a very positive experience at the Robey! Amazing location and every staff member we interacted with was very kind and helpful. They even have story hour at the Clever Coyote on Sundays! The rooms are a little on the small side, but not terrible. The view from the rooftop is incredible.
