I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt place Lombard, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The amenities were top-notch, and the room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.

What truly made my stay memorable, though, was the outstanding service provided by Keshonna. They went above and beyond to ensure my experience was superb, offering recommendations for local attractions and even arranging transportation when I needed it. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made me feel right at home.

I highly recommend Hyatt placr to anyone looking for a fantastic stay, and I hope to return soon. Kudos to the entire team, especially Keshonna for making it such a delightful experience!

I experienced Hyatt Place for the first time & I am beyond impressed. To start with the hotel interior & rooms are beautiful. Very tasteful decor. The rooms are more like a one bedroom apartment. You are immediately greeted by an outstanding staff. Very friendly & welcoming. Check often to make sure you are having a good stay with everything needed. I need to mention Patti who I can tell wears many hats. I have observed the numerous jobs she handles with courtesy & professionalism. From checking guests in, bartender, waitress, cook, etc. She should be an assistant mgr if not already. Deserves more than 5 stars. Top notch guest services. I will return.

The hotel is ideally situated near Yorktown Mall, offering plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The staff is friendly and provides outstanding customer service. The atmosphere was peaceful, making for a relaxing stay overall. Breakfast was both delicious and plentiful, with constant refills. However, the rooms could use some updates. The carpet, in particular, was in poor condition—although it smelled clean, it looked quite worn with visible stains, including something resembling red nail polish. The hotel would benefit from either better carpet cleaning or replacement. Despite this, the stay was still enjoyable, and the kids had a great time.

The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping service was outstanding. Breakfast was fresh and hot. The pool was clean and secure. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, greeting us with smiles. Parking was easily available. Rooms were very clean and kid-friendly.

We had the best experience over this past weekend! Clean room excellent customer service. Patricia at the bar was amazing! She was so friendly and very attentive. We had a great night sitting at the bar talking to her☺️ breakfast was great. Couldn’t recommend this location enough. definitely will be coming back

With many choices, we continue to choose Hyatt Place/Lombard/Oak Brook because of the friendliness of all staff members - from Abe, the GM, to housekeeping, front desk and food service. They are all efficient and knowledgeable in their duties and each one will tend to any guest needs as the professionals they are. We feel welcomed and appreciate the friendliness of all staff. Breakfast by Marisall and her staff is great; room layout and cleanliness is perfect for us.

Beware… Reviewers that say the beds are comfortable have never slept on a good mattress before… these beds are old af and hard as a rock. Horrible. They claim on the website that the bed are “luxury pillow top mattress” but we couldn’t sleep through the night because they were so uncomfortable… Definitely not pillow top mattress or luxury at all… the blankets on the bed are just 4-5 layers of sheets and no real cozy bedding to keep you warm. The pillows are the typical cheap hotel pillows that look fluffy, but when you put your head on it they sink down to less then an inch so you can really appreciate the hardness of the bed underneath. The rooms are large and that is pretty much the only positive, the general vibe of the room is outdated and dirty… I say this because we found hairs on the bed upon entering the room, random candies scattered on the floor from the previous guest or housekeeping, and ants in the bathroom. I haven’t spoken to the front desk yet about my problems since this is our first night out of 6, so I will update this with their response once I let them know about our discomfort and dissatisfaction with the quality of the room compared to what’s advertised on their website. If nothing can be done hopefully a refund is available because these beds are not it for 6 nights of sleep and we’ll definitely need to find new accommodations.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was politeand helpful. However, one elevator wasn't working and the 2nd one stop working for a while. We had to walk to the 4th floor a few times. The pool was water was merky and the pool key cards stop working. Staff had or other patrons had to let you in the pool. Finally, disrespectful boys were running through the hotel for 2 days banging on doors. Why do we have to be so ignorant?
