I just discovered this cute little coffee shop the other day and ordered a cold brew… it instantly became my favorite! The people were so nice, atmosphere is adorable, and it’s the best tasting coffee I’ve had in the area!! I will def be a regular!

Absolute 10/5! Just moved to the area and what a unique and CUTE find! Staff are the friendliest, dining room open format with coffee bar seating, as well! Original lattes to try, if you're in the mood and all your iced/hot coffee favorites! Their diverse breakfast and lunch dinner surely has what you're hungry for! Highly recommended! BONUS: they also host airbnb rooms upstairs!

2nd stop on the McHenry County Coffee and Tea Trail!! The town of Richmond is so quaint and Richmond Cafe is part of the town's rich history. I loved this setting; check out the pics!!

Breakfast was meh...I really wouldn't want to eat here again. I ordered the Chicken omelette. You can see that it looked dry and it tasted the same, plus the chicken was really salty. This was supposed to come with salsa but I wasn't provided it and I ended up having to ask for it because there was no way i could've eaten the omelette without it. Tried my daughter's egg and cheese croissant and it was ok, better than my omelette at least.

Now let's talk about the coffee... My daughter ordered the Cafe Miel which is an espresso with honey and cinnamon-infused steam milk and it was tasty. I ordered the Maple Latte which was also delicious. We both agree we would go back for the coffee!

Richmond Cafe is tops for around here. Coffee is really good. Request a mug rather than cardboard cup. Food is very good if not technically great. But atmosphere and intimacy are greater attractions. A magician works tables on Sunday, great for kids. Roomy and nicely decorated, sit where you want. Yogurt frappe and lox & bagel available. Always nice looking clientele. The wait staff could model bluejeans.

I used to frequent this place when it was Main St Coffee, and I am pleased to say it was still a 5 star experience. I was greeted upon entering, the barista Ruth had her hands full with other customers and still managed to provide 5 star service. In less than 15 minutes I had a delicious breakfast and fresh, hot coffee in front of me. Highly recommend coming here for any/all reasons. Definitely coming back again even though it’s a 2 hour drive from my residence. Kudos to the new owners! Can’t wait to try more items!

When traveling, I'm always looking for a place with good drinks and food. Well, Richmond Cafe exceeded my expectations! The food was very good, and the coffee drinks even better. The staff was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant with nice homemade jewelry and other stuff to purchase. Whether you're traveling or living in the area, you must give this place a try!! 😋😀☕️

Richmond Cafe is so beautiful! Amazing decor and vibes, great coffee and delicious food! I also LOVE the design and style and how they kept the old front doors and brick walls and such from it's previous life (which was a childhood favorite) Glad that storefront has a renewed life, and so beautifully renovated!
