The place was renovated so it was crisp and clean. Newly painted walls, new carpet, new bathroom decor, with new sink and mirror. More modern look. Everything smelled so good and fresh. The pool was clean amd the stair exits were new with lots of good lighting.

My stay at your hotel was with my sister and a really great friend. The beds were so comfortable we couldn’t believe how well we all had slept. I’m the morning we had the continental breakfast. We really liked the veggie omelette that had only egg whites. The sausage and bacon was very tasty. I also had the cinnamon roll which was warm and had a really good taste. After breakfast my friend and I went in the pool. The water temp was very nice not too hot or cold. We went back to our room and showed. I liked that the shower had soap dispensers for soap and shampoo. My overall rating is definitely a 10+. I will definitely stay at this Holiday Express hotel again. Also, loved it was near my sister and family who I was visiting.

Two complaints...I booked 6 rooms under my name all at the same time on the website. For some reason only one room was charged a higher rate. I spoke to front desk upon check out and they could not determine why and told me I would have to call and speak to General manage, Alex Patel. I called to speak to GM, and a different front desk clerk tried to assist me...he could not explain why as well. He said he would leave a message for GM to call me back. I'm still waiting. This is not a lot of money but I would like to know reason why or give me credit. Also out of the six rooms, none of the safes worked! I reported to FD and was told, maintenance would not be in until the next day who was only one that could help. After realizing none of the safes worked out of the six rooms, we thought it was the batteries. I asked FD for batteries, they did not have any batteries and would not have until Monday. We were checking out on Sunday. Otherwise 5 stars for cleanliness and the breakfast was awesome! Price gets 5 stars as well, I just want to my credit for the correct room rate!

We really enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and the neighborhood was nice. Breakfast was very good as well. The bathroom looked a bit used but not bad and certainly did not affect our thoughts about staying again if needed.

I have waited a few stays to write this review... I was so pleased when this hotel opened in Perryville... great location and part if the IHG family..... But over the last few stays especially if the owner is not onsite. The check-ins are still smooth and amazing. But the mornings are one of the worst I have seen as a Diamond Elite Member in my average of 90 stays a year for the last 15 years.... First the common areas still showed signs of mud and dirt for the night before.... Second and the biggest is the breakfast or the lack of..... no normal eggs only egg white omelet, no bacon or pork sausage, fruit was down to the bruised apples and no milk..... then NO coffee. This has happen at 7:30 AM and the last stay at 7:00 AM and the "attended" just mumbles laundry when requested to fill the empties and on the coffee she blames the guest for drinking too much or filling their coffee "pots"...... so sad....

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. I found long black hairs hanging from both sets of towels hanging on rack. I reported to front desk and they did give me clean towels. Their response was poor and they didn’t offer an apology or a discount.

The stay was mostly great, but they were doing some kind of renovations that made lots of noise late into the evenings. The breakfast could have more variety from day to day for people who are staying lengthy stays.

I stayed here on a recent trip with my husband. I showed up and noticed the only hand towel in the bathroom was dirty... very dirty. It had obviously been used, refolded and hung up. I took pictures of the towel and went down to the desk and showed the young man that checked us in a few minutes earlier. He was very apologetic and got us another towel... a bath towel. Ok no biggy, I can dry my hands on a bigger towel. Then the rest of the room seemed ok until 2:00am. That is when I woke up my face was itchy and I noticed ants on my pillow. I jumped up and took care of it... or so I thought. I woke up again at 6:00am with more ants on my face, my arm, all over the bed and the night stand. I showered and went down to tell the same guy... poor guy, no one else would come in. I told him about the ants, he said he would tell the manager and that the manager would contact us via email or phone call. Before check out we went to the complimentary breakfast. They have the same breakfast as every other hotel in this chain and yet it was not good, I usually like the breakfast at IHG hotels and this was just not good. They only had the egg/cheese omelet and it just was not good, it was partially cold and just tasted bad. We checked out and left, it has been almost two weeks, no call, no email. We wanted to like this place but it is not worth going to again. There is another hotel in this chain a few miles down the road.
