Honestly one of my favorite Wedding Venues in Southern Illinois!! I own a DJ Company and have been there several times. Every time is sensational!!! From the grounds, to the famous Bourbon Bar, to the wonderful staff that is on site, everything at the Havisham House is like a dream!! 1000% Recommend again and again!!

Great bourbon cocktails! I loved their peach bourbon drinks and
their old fashioned was really good too. Bartenders were knowledgeable about bourbon, fun things to do in the area, and fun to watch making drinks. Stop by if you're in the area ...you won't regret it!

We held our daughters wedding here and let me tell you it was definitely worth the drive. The place is breath taking. The owners were so helpful and only a phone call away. I would love to come back for a weekend getaway so we can enjoy the rest of the amazing sites in the area. Thanks for making my little girls wedding dreams come true.

Stayed here for my brother's wedding in May 2023. This place is beautiful!! The venue could not have been better! This location is absolutely stunning. The homes have been restored with exquisite attention to every detail. The story behind the name is also special. I stayed in the Carriage House. The bed was quite comfortable and I slept great! There was a small issue with one of the showers and it was fixed within an hour. If you are getting married or having a celebration of any kind, this place would be a fantastic venue for the occasion and will be well remembered for years to come!!

Went to a beautiful wedding here. The ceremony was an absolutely beautiful setting. The venue inside was super cool vibe. We walked property learned a lot about the house history even met Nick the owner who shared amazing insight. A true gem in Southern Illinois.

I highly recommend this venue for anybody getting married in the area! It really made our wedding weekend so special being able to have a suite large enough to accommodate our whole bridal party. Not to mention how sweet and helpful Jerri, her husband and staff were. They came by several times to make sure everything was running perfectly! The bar staff was also great! I had mentioned the week before about wanting to serve hot beverages to my guest during the ceremony and they were able to provide it and made it such a perfect touch for my ceremony. The venue is just absolutely beautiful! 10/10 would recommend!

Came here for my cousins wedding. The Havisham House was very helpful to them as they sort of were booked in an emergency. The staff did their best to accommodate a large wedding. The outdoor space served as ceremony space. The inside was well decorated. Thanks to the staff for helping make the wedding beautiful.

This place is beautiful! We stayed in the main house but they also have a carriage house right behind the main house that can be rented too. Each house will sleep 6 people. They also have a building that can be rented for weddings or family reunions and such. The house is decorated in beautiful antiques but has all the modern conveniences. There are 12 different wineries in the area and several orchards. Just make sure they will be open during the time you are planning to visit if that is what you are going for. Would highly recommend this property!!!
