We stayed in the hotel recently and I can say that it was a nice experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They had a variety of food for a light breakfast. The pool was closed but, I'm sure that was beyond their control.

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service. Give it -3 stars if it was a possibility. Albeit it wasn’t the overnight front desk service worker. It was supposedly the manager!!! Even more abhorrent. I have never experienced such an abuse. I needed a safe space to heal for a night or two. Didn’t have a visitor one. Was kicked out for asking if the fire alarm going off was a “thing” because it happened when I stayed the week before with my son at 3 am and was going off this am again. I was contemplating staying another night but with the fire alarm at odd hours as well as not having any semblance of what most people would call a “breakfast” the last time I stayed with my son ( plain Kellogg no milk, 1/8 of carafe of oj, bread no butter, and two tiny knock off lil Debbie muffins) on a school night at $120 , well I was on the fence. The reply I got was forceful intrusive loud retorts of “not my fault, not my problem” to banging on my door standing in door way telling me she wasn’t leaving till I did and a cop standing by my door as I leave. Where are workers getting their skills or blatant lack there of. I was already feeling vulnerable and needing respite and now I’m beyond upset. Sad hurt embarrassed shocked outraged and victimized. Bewildered and appalled. What does a place of business such as this bring to any town. Can’t even pay and receive what you assume you’re paying for but you also don’t feel like a paying customer but a criminal!!! Towns cannot support businesses that treat customers in this way. The cop was more than respectful while I was mortified. He was at all points polite and allowed me some semblance of dignity before I left. He could have approached the situation in so many others ways. I’m so glad he didn’t. He performed his job magnificently -performing his job duties in a way this manager could stand to take a few tips from. Well done officer and as for the manager, well, 😳 but mostly to the Management umbrella and owners—-SHAME ON YOU!!!! Don’t let this business become a Motel 2 before we finally decide as a whole to quit supporting such blatant abuses. Maybe about the time our country takes a look at how we treat our workforce, mentally ill, homeless, dual diagnosis, felons etc. The resources provided a community to address these root issues are being overshadowed by accountants and fiscal years bottom dollars walls and the monumental renaming of things? Shakes head. A measure of any country town etc. is directly correlated to how we treat our marginalized, downtrodden, and weary population. This is, after all the shock and anger mostly a sad reminder of how ragged and torn community’s are everywhere. And now you say how could a motel possibly elicit such feelings of hopelessness from one overnight stay—-I know, it’s really sad when you think about it :(.

-worried for the collective future

————-Don’t let Motel 7 leave you feeling hopeless too

The location was good, but that is all. The sheets were stained, there was dirt in the vents, what appeared to be dead skin in the shower, was very smelly. Holes in the doors. Breakfast was a joke. a few muffins and oatmeal. It was relatively inexpensive, but not even worth that! My guys were down in Anna for construction job and booked 2 nights, but checked out early.

Very but very disappointed to this place called “hotel”. It doesn’t deserve the name hotel, not even motel. There are motels that are much cleaner than this hole. First experience was my tv had no remote, and went to the front desk. They gave me a remote, but that didn’t worked either. They finally managed to make it work, but you had to get up and control the volume from the tv, because apparently there needs to be 2 remotes, and they only had one. Then the room was so filthy and beds looked like they haven’t been changed from the previous guests. Bad smell and dusty. Holes in the walls and doors. I had to call midnight at the front desk to ask my neighbors to be quiet and turn down the loud music. Front desk knew immediately of the room I was talking about it. They are probably a long therm guests. Also they said that breakfast is included. What a joke!!! No milk, no cream, no plates, no jelly, almost nothing. Not even some bananas. Just some old bread and waffle, but with nothing to put on! I just left. Don’t come here! Oh, and is not super cheap. I paid $90 for a room with two full beds!

Nice staff, especially in the afternoon/evening. I think her name was Stacey. The main hall smelled really bad. The rooms were ok, but the bathroom was outdated and dirty around the toilet. We stayed for 2 nights and no one cleaned our room. The free breakfast wasn't anything special and was poorly stocked. Unfortunately, there wasn't another hotel option.

Breakfast was an embarrassment. Plain cornflakes but no milk! Maybe 12oz of oj and two tiny knock off lil Debbie muffins. Smoke alarm randomly went off at like 3 AM in a piercing loud volume to the point where I had to go to the front desk where I didn’t find anybody and then I had to run around looking for this young kid who had to come in and then pull the couch in the middle of the room, stand on it in order to figure out how to make it stop screaming because it wasn’t battery operated mind you there was no fire. :/. I guess I’m lucky there was hot water.

I tried staying here lastnight for just a small cheap get away from home type of stay. I regret spending my money here. I was not even able to stay the full night due to being bit by bedbugs. Also, as I was sitting there on the bed eating my food and watching tv a cockroach came crawling up my blanket towards me. The vent in the bathroom above shower was falling out of ceiling, the toilet inside bowl had what looked like pink/red hair dye spots in it, it was all over the hairdryer as well. The bathtub had blackish scum in it, we had to clean it before we could even use it. There was what looked like food splatter on the walls, and some brownish black stuff on the door coffee maybe? I have no idea what it was. The pool isnt heated at all. I took my towels to front desk to get new ones and was told they didnt have any washcloths and I'd have to wait til morning to get any clean washcloths so had to wash with a hand towel instead. They did allow me to check in early without charging extra and allowed me to bring my pet without charging extra but at the cost of being bitten by their bedbugs was NOT what I had in mind. We ended up leaving around midnight and of course there was no refund of any kind. This used to be a very nice place to stay. I will NOT be going back there. If you need a quick not so nice place to stay in an emergency then this place will do. The guy that was working when I left was very nice he also said that his boss would be getting on the bug thing as she had already previously called the exterminator over this same issue. I do hope that they can get the bug issuse taken care of. Good luck to those who stay here. I gave 2 stars because the heat did work, and its walls and roof kept the rain off of me.
