Had a great time here. Of course when you win you always have a good time. Clean casino. Easy to get around. Not to big though. One problem is lack of dining options. Restaurant closed during the week. Really. Don’t say you can’t afford it with all the cash you taking in from the casino. But like I said, me and my buddies were pleased even though a couple of them dropped a substantial amount of dollars. That’s gambling. I’ll be back.

We enjoy going to Harrahs although sometimes there is not enough handicap sometimes parking.
We have had the cafe but sometimes they get a little rushed and forget part of the order or get it wrong. But for the most part, the food is good and it comes out hot.
We have a casino host by the name of Randall Evans and he is wonderful.

I frequent Harrahs

and century casino a lot due to them only being an hour away. No real complaints with Harrahs. Slots are all good to me as well as table games. If you need a host Jacob is a stand up dude all around. He made my stay & experience great. The dealers at Mississippi stud are very great definitely not sticks in the mud like other places. Crystal will have you laughing. Highly recommend this place and the hotel.

Not a high end place, if you’re into that, but This is a fun place and it’s easy to get to. A little confusing to figure out where to go to get checked in but once inside it’s clear. We stayed during bad weather so when the tornado sirens went off the hotel staff instructed what to do to keep safe. Overall a very good stay and we will be back.

This place was amazing I went with my man for Christmas and the room was huge and was super clean the staff was amazing and super friendly. The casino was big and awesome and the security was super nice and friendly. I would recommend any body of age looking to go to a good casino or hotel in general to go to this one. The staff at the casino was amazing as well and friendly too. I would go back again when I get the money to go again. Oh and the bed was super comfy. The shower didn't have a lot of pressure but the water was still hot. The tub was really big if your short then you would have a hard time getting in or out of the tub unless you had someone to help you get in and out of it. Over all I really enjoyed my stay at Harrah's Metropolis Hotel and Casino in Metropolis Illinois

Harrah's Metropolis offers a solid experience with a mix of pros and cons. The casino is newer and in excellent condition, providing a clean, modern atmosphere that makes gaming enjoyable. It's clear they’ve put effort into maintaining this space. Also I love since the casino is in Illinois, it is a smoke-free casino. ||The hotel rooms, while clean, feel a bit dated compared to the casino. They’re comfortable enough for a short stay, but a refresh would definitely enhance the overall experience.||For EV drivers, the on-site J1772 charger is a nice convenience, but it only charges at 2.2 kW, which is significantly slower than the typical 9 kW. I think they need to look into this as the Telsa plugs seem to charge those vehicles at a higher rate. ||On the dining side, the restaurant 'Bridges' is a highlight. The menu offers some great options, and the loaded potato skins are absolutely worth trying—crispy, flavorful, and a standout dish.

The rooms were okay. The problem we had with the hotel. We were promised a smoking room and when we got there we were told none was available. We have a service dog registered originally in Missouri and was told if we want that dog to come in the hotel we must pay a $50 a night fee. We were told that the state of Illinois does not recognize service dogs. No exception and we will be charged $50 a night. The casino is non-smoking and if you would like a drink a free drink coffee tea soda it must be delivered by a waitress. The casino was dull. No excitement and no winners to be found. Would not recommend this casino. Caesars you really miss the mark on this one.
