This was a really nice place to spend a couple of nights, though it is not a "bed and breakfast" as it's described in some sources -- just a very nice quiet place to stay the night (or two nights, in our case). The proprietors were a friendly "older" couple who live nearby, and who came over to meet us soon after we first arrived. and who talked with us for a little while about the area. Lots of very interesting "antique" knick-knacks around the house, and a very nice wrap-around deck at the back and one side of the house. The price was very nice, too! We recommend them!

This cabin is fantastic. The owners are lovely and made us feel right at home. It is centrally located so you can easily get to the wineries both east and west of Cobden. Beautifully decorated. Lots of games available to guests. We appreciated the privacy the cabin provided. Fireplace was splendid.

One morning as we were leaving we debated if we should turn on the front porch light to help us see when we returned later in the evening. We decided to leave it off to not waste electricity. The owners came home from their own dinner date and noticed that we were not back yet. They turned the cabin's front porch light on for us. It made us feel warm and welcome.

We had a lovely stay at Windy Hill Acres Inn. The house is a lot larger than it appears in the photos. The owners were pleasant and we did not have any issues. The property is definitely geared towards an adult crowd but we had fun playing games.
