I have really no complaints. It was wonderful, relaxing. The room was great. We got the one bedroom condo. Huge. Like living at home. Full kitchen. Amenities are great. Pool, exercise room. There is even a game room. Great if you have kids. It is a few miles from Galena, but that means quiet.

Very peaceful and out in the country.wifi. was very nice, loved the double sided fire place (besides the fact the switch to turn it on didn't turn it off). Amazing view off the balcony. Was liking the idea of being able to stream to the tv from your phone or tablet but you have to pay for their internet to connect to the wifi and it starts at $10/day.

Just outside of Galena so it is easy to take day trips downtown! In town you can find many interesting shops and restaurants to visit. If you like history you can visit President Grant's home and take a tour for a small donation ☺️. The docent we had was very knowledgeable about the Grant family.

This is the closest WorldMark resort near us, we had never heard of Galena until we booked our stay for our little families first mini vacation without extended family in 6 years. We had an absolute blast! Our 3 year old LOVED the game rooms, we forgot swimsuits so we couldn't enjoy the pool or hot tub, but we truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were incredibly clean and so cute! Our 3 year old was absolutely amazed at having a Jack and Jill backroom and lived every second of his special not boy room.

Positive: Great space for the price! We had a bedroom, living room, kitchen, fireplace, and large bathroom and the cost was so much lower than other places. Negative: My son wanted to utilize the xbox but it was very outdated and every game he checked out required an hour or longer for an "update" -- it really made the xbox unuseable.

Beware! bug infestation— our room was infested with Japanese beetles, on average about 30-40 minimum a day across different areas of our room, occupying the walls, our bathroom mirrors, the windows, the floors, the toilets etc. The resort said they are aware of it but they did bare minimum to solve the issue. According to them, most rooms don’t see so many, but when we asked to switch rooms they said they don’t have spare rooms. The only thing they did was let us borrow a handheld vacuum to vacuum those bugs up, but we had to do it every day and an hour later they would reappear. Other than that the staff did nothing, didn’t compensate us for our troubles or even help us get those bugs, just kind of shrug like too bad you have to spend your supposedly relaxing time catching bugs or be wary not to step on any bugs just walking around in your room. Would not recommend.

Positive: the jacuzzi Negative: I had a dennis the menace in the room above me. they checked in on saturday around 8 and had non stop yelling and bumping. i made many complaints to the front and nothing was done. it was a horrible experience being woken up many times out of my sleep!

I found WorldMark on a great deal through their own website. I've never stayed at a hotel in Galena before but was looking for a weekend getaway for a couple of days. Our room was the larger of the two types, it was basically an apartment. It was massive for a "hotel" room. It had its own kitchen complete with everything you'd need to cook. The bedroom was its own separate room with its own closet, TV, and door to the balcony. The bathroom was completely separate from the bathroom for privacy and had a roomy shower and a jetted tub large enough for two people.

The living area had a table, chairs, a Murphy bed, and a couch. There was also a gas fireplace that was completely encased in glass. Its meant for the ambiance, not actually heating the unit.

Since we were on the top floor there was no one above us. We didn't hear anything from the unit below us either but I'm not sure if there was anyone staying down there at the time. Our unit was spotless too. From the fridge to the bed and everything in between, it was very clean.

There is a pool and game room downstairs that has a couple of arcade games, a ing pon table, and a pool table. We didn't utilize the downstairs at all though.

WorldMark is about 10 minutes from downtown Galena, right off US20.
