Had a great time with the staff, very personable, the farm to table food was awesome, knowing the family was a local organic farm solidifies their commitment to fresh and healthy. Talking with them strengthens their attachment to community. The food amd drinks were awesome, I would Love to get to know Dan and his family more, we where in town for a funeral and they made us feel like we were part of Princeton community.

I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it! Wild Ginger Bistro is a lovely farm to table restaurant in Princeton, serving a wide variety of tasty options (seasonal and locally grown). The hubs and I have enjoyed the lunch AND dinner options (we go often so we can try everything)! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the menu items are really tasty and thoughtfully prepared. A few of our favorites: the Ham + Cheese Gondola Sandwich, Thai Chili Bowl, Meatloaf, Smoked Pork Butt Sandwich.

What a gem of a place in Princeton. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. You would not expect this in Princeton. The place is very cozy, like being at home. We were there when they did a nod to New Orleans, it was so good! Loved the shrimp and grits. The crawfish was so delicious, you would have thought you were transported to Louisiana. Wonderful food all around. The baked lasagna, I heard, was better than the Italians make in Italy. And you couldn't go wrong with the meatloaf. They did a great job accommodating a dairy allergy, which isn't always easy in small towns. We will be back!

Food! Glorious Food!! It’s here! Come in and taste for yourself! Unique combinations with flavor depths worth diving into! But not to minimize those traditional dishes on the menu that have that “Wild Ginger” signature of flavor! A great selection of wines and an atmosphere that says stay, we’re glad you’re here! You’ll eat well and you’ll want to come back!

My wife and I thought we would try out this new place and we absolutely loved it! Great food and presentation. The staff was so very friendly as well. The chef has some serious culinary skills and would compare the taste and offering to that of a much larger city. We will definitely travel to see them again!

We come in from the Chicago area and are used to some really great places, so when we are in Central Illinois it’s hard to find somewhere good to eat. Most restaurants tend to rely on fried foods and the same fare. Wild Ginger was a complete surprise. It’s very relaxed and the staff is so personable. It is like being invited into someone’s home for the best meal you can ever imagine. You will not find the run of the mill menu. Beautiful ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Everything is prepared from scratch from appetizers to desserts. The drinks are also so well prepared. We love the flatbreads. Stop in, you will feel so welcomed and Definitely won’t be disappointed.

Went for lunch on opening day. Had the smoked pork butt sandwich and hubby had the tiger shrimp roll. Both were excellent and served with potato chips on the side.
