My first time dining here and it was for brunch. This is a cute little place that looks like it used to be a house renovated into a restaurant. There's a small gift shop in the entrance. I chose a small Caesar salad that came with a piece of garlic toast. It was ok nothing special for $7, so I'd probably pass
on it. I also got the soup of the day which was cream of mushroom, and it was delicious. I would recommend if it was offered again. My SO got the Red Rooster scramble. It didn't look overly appealing but he said it was good. He ordered a Cosmo, and I tried it and it was super good! The server was friendly, and the atmosphere here is cute. I remember the coffee was hot and fresh too. Overall, a good experience, and I would give it another try for breakfast, lunch or dinner if I'm ever in the Princeton area again.

We had a delicious lunch here. The owners used to run Z Best in Sheffield and their attention to quality ingredients and interesting flavor twists continues here at Cafe Grace.

The building is an old chapter house for the American Women's League. The owner told us it is the only chapter house in Illinois that hasn't been converted to a private residence. They have kept.the beautiful craftsman decor and beautifully renovated the building. Great to see this historic place get a new life.

Thrilled to share my 5-star experience at Cafe Grace! 🌟 Highly recommended by a friend, and I'm so glad they pointed me in the right direction. From the inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service, every moment was delightful. The Fried Ravioli made for a fantastic appetizer, setting the stage for a culinary journey. My choice of the blackened salmon with sides of potatoes and vegetables was a taste sensation! Equally, my wife enjoyed the delightful chicken alfredo. If you find yourself in Princeton, don't miss the chance to savor the flavors at Cafe Grace! 🍽️👌 #CafeGracePrinceton #DeliciousDining #5StarExperience

This place is too cute!

We stayed at the Knox Hotel across the street while in town for a wedding. Walked over the next morning for breakfast & are so glad we did.

The waitress was super sweet & personable. She recommended things from the menu (do yourself a favor and order the pancakes!) and was just all around a great waitress. I wish I could remember her name!

The food was fantastic & the atmosphere was so cozy. The building itself is rich in history, which only added to our experience staying at a historic hotel across the street.

I definitely recommend stopping in & supporting this local business. The location is convenient & service was unmatched.

Thanks again!!

We had a lovely meal with pleasant service. Hubby’s pot roast was tender and falling apart. My soup de jour of shrimp and corn bisque had layered flavors that I enjoyed. Turtle brownie with ice cream tasted like it had just come out of the oven. We felt fortunate to have found it. The building is unassuming and a bit hard to spot from the road. It has historical charm.

Quiet little place for lunch on our drive to Chicago for the weekend. Apple, ham, and brie sandwich was so amazing, it was like dessert in a sandwich. An amazing lunch. It was first time here and we will definitely be back.

Relaxed, pleasant atmosphere with great service and, oh yeah, THE FOOD!

I got a side salad and the pasta Lafayette. First, that side salad really brought it. It had a kind of tangy-sweet, herbed cucumber and tomato relish that added so much. I think the French dressing was house-made because its flavors were perfectly balanced. I don't think I've ever loved a side salad so much in my life.

I've never eaten a dish like the pasta Lafayette. The combination of Cajun and Italian really worked. The mussels were extremely tender, not at all what one expects in central Illinois LOL. The chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage were also just right: flavorful, tender and each contributing to the creamy, comforting wholeness of the dish. Kudos!

My husband got the ravioli with tomato and asparagus. He loved it, but conceded that I won this round of the menu Olympics.
