We had a baby shower here and it turned out amazing. Exceeded our expectations for sure!!
Marty was great to work with and all the crew there were awesome. They wanted to make sure they made it as easy as possible for us to set up and enjoy our party. He even has an assistant ready to help us with anything we needed. She was a great asset (I forgot her name 😐), very sweet girl
The space is beautiful and all our guests enjoyed it very much. We had full use of the kitchen which is equipped with stove, fridge, ovens, microwave and plenty of counter space for prepping food. All our tables were set up and ready for us to decorate. We even had to add and rearrange some areas. Which was done without a hitch. Marty made sure all our accommodations were met. Thank you
Now for the bonus part... we also included having our guests groom, saddle and ride the horses. It’s an additional cost but well worth the experience. This program is awesome. The trainers were super amazing and attentive to our guests that requested this additional fun time. They had a classroom session first before going to the stables (which were immaculate), then introduced all the horses and had everyone learn how to groom them. They were very safety conscious as we had children starting at 3 all the way through adults riding, which were led by a trainer. The trainers were so fun and patient with everyone. This was a big hit! Thank you for making this the best baby shower ever!!!
We hope to have many more events here in the near future.

We had such a good experience The first time we did another party that was very successful. As usual Marty and his crew are very helpful and they offer plenty of tables and chairs. They even had the fireplace lit for us. That was a nice touch. They give plenty of freedom to decorate. They do have specific requirements, but nothing drastic. All our friends and family love coming to this place. There was plenty of space in the refrigerator to store cakes and cold items. And there’s plenty of counter space for prepping food. We also enjoyed going out and petting the horses. The children loved it. This is one of our favorite places to host any get together’s.

Marty and Desiree made our wedding the least stressful as possible. They were extremely nice and helpful throughout the whole process and provided any help or assistance they could. Our wedding was beautiful and overall an amazing day, and a lot of that is because of the workers at Ellis House. The location was perfect and has a ton of photogenic areas. Highly recommend using Ellis house for future weddings or parties. Marty and Desiree are great people to work with and the venue is gorgeous. Couldn’t have been happier with our day on 9/30/23

Don't overlook this venue for an outdoor wedding and reception! We had my son's wedding here on 09/30/2023 and it was perfect. Marty and Desiree went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and to be sure everything was just the way the bride and groom wanted it. They were so helpful with recommendations and always had time for questions. The house is cozy, plenty of parking and easy to get to. Thank you Marty, Desiree and Ellis House!

I cannot say enough good things about Ellis House and the staff there. Marty and Grace went above and beyond to make this day a success. I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower this weekend and it was perfect! Ellis was the most beautiful setting, from the bright windows in the dining area to the rising fire in the back room, it was just what we needed on this cold snowy day. Our family and friends loved it!

I held a Kentucky Derby themed bridal shower at Ellis House in May, 2019. The setting was beautiful, the facilities were perfect for our group of approximately 40. Marty and the rest of the staff went above and beyond including helping with audiovisual set-up and being available to answer all of our questions.

The flexibility of working with the property to turn it into the vision I wanted for the wedding and reception was amazing. Working with the staff has been a pleasure.
