We recently had had our wedding at Farmington Lake, and I am so grateful that we did. We loved everything about it, it was absolutely beautiful! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and there are so many great spots for beautiful pictures. It really felt like something out of a fairy tale. We had an entirely different wedding plan before COVID started. Our original ceremony site fell through but we found Farmington Lake about a month before our wedding and Melanie, the owner, made everything super easy. She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I would highly recommend having your wedding ceremony here. 🙂

I have nothing but great things to say about Farmington Lake. The second we toured we knew this was the PERFECT venue for our wedding ceremony. Melanie was amazing, kind, supportive, and helpful through it all. She communicates so well, and knows how to get things done quickly but efficiently, and is always available and open to ideas. The location is perfect, and the view of the lake and fields is superb. Plenty of options to make your special day exactly how you want. There is always a tent up as a backup for rainfall! I 100% highly recommend Farmington Lake to anyone looking for an outdoor/rustic ceremony venue.

I recently photographed Stephanie & Patrick's wedding here and absolutely loved both the wide views and intimate nooks this venue provided. Staff was very friendly and was outside waiting for us to arrive and assisted with parking and suggesting locations. Be sure to find the trees by the bridge - it provided a great background for family photos.

We held our ceremony at Farmington Lake, and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Working with Melanie was a fantastic experience from beginning to end, and we are thrilled with the stunning results. The addition of the doves was a lovely touch and our guest loved it just as much as we did! Thank you 🤍

My wife and I just got married here at the end of June. It was the most stressful and worst experience. My wife and I are on the younger side, mid 20s, so the owner Melina didn’t have much respect or patience with us, she was very condescending. We weren’t notified of needing wedding insurance until the day before our ceremony and if we didn’t have it we couldn’t get married there. We also weren’t told that the chapel area towards the back of the property costed extra and we told that less than 24 hours before our wedding. Which we told her many times we planned on using that area very early on. The chapel area also has tons of poison ivy around it and leading up to it. This wasn’t told to us until after about an hour of being there for our ceremony. So the whole day prior when we did our rehearsal or the day of the wedding any one of us could have gotten poison ivy. We had the area from 3-5pm and were told to show up around 15-30 minutes early. When my groomsmen and I arrived they hadn’t even begun setting anything up. So when guests started showing up they still weren’t finished with decorations. The area where the bride and bridesmaid wait is a see through shed which doesn’t work well and there was a hornets nest inside so none of them could be in there safely. There was an insane amount of bugs it seemed they took no measures to reduce the amount of insects not even a little bit of bug spray. The day of the wedding had rain on the forecast for the whole day and we were told that they would have a tent area set up for us in case it did rain but they set us up out in the rain anyways. So our 80+ year old grandparents had to sit out in the rain for over an hour. The organizer/owner Melina disappeared for over an hour and so did the husband. So since it was raining my groomsmen had to search through our cars to find something to dry off all the chairs since we couldn’t find the owner. We looked for her for over an hour to ask if we could move to the tent area or get umbrellas or towels and we just couldn’t find anyone. One of my groomsmen found the husband and they waved him down and he hopped in his tractor and drove away. Her husband was also supposed to direct traffic and drive the older guests down to the ceremony area so they didn’t have to walk down the wet steep hill, neither of these things was done. We were very lucky that none of our older guests got injured making their way down. Then once one of us found Melina she was in her house on the phone and ignored the groomsmen trying to get her attention for another 20 minutes. The ceremony was supposed to start at 4 pm when the first person would walk down, she didn’t get back down till 4:15 pm. So we also had to figure out her stereo system and microphone our selves. Once she got back she didn’t apologize or anything and she came back in a completely new outfit with a full face a makeup. So she left all of us and our guests sitting out in the rain to figure everything out our selves so she could take care of her self. Then even after the ceremony was over she still didn’t apologize and had the nerves to ask for another 100 dollars. Overall this was the worst experience ever and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Got married 9.19.21 here. Beautiful, sound was great, everything was perfect. The Bride even got a fan in her little gazebo. Oh and the bubble machine at the end added the final touch!
