Bought a bundle to be added to my hair and walked out with color in my hair I didn’t ask for! I don’t wear red! Why was my bundles colored red and platinum blonde. Hairstyle was so horrible I had to come back for her to remove it on my birthday! When I asked for my bundles , she gave me a brown track and a platinum blonde track. Still confused why my hair had red streaks in it? My hair was honey blonde at the time. I’ve never worn red in my life! She was late to BOTH my appointments! Pictures below !👇🏽

My experience at hair artistry was like no other! Not only were the staff super friendly but the shop was COVID FRIENDLY and super clean. Loren took great care of me and made me feel beautiful again (Got so many compliments on my hair in Chicago and while traveling). Everyone is super professional, there was no wait -the time I booked my appointment was the time I was serviced. Stop by Hair Artistry I promise you won’t be disappointed! Lorene was amazing !!!! I recently took a trip to Chicago for one of my best friend’s babyshower, and was in dire need to get my hair done for the weekend. With my last minute antics, I was so stressed out trying to find a stylist who is great with natural hair, attentive, and who can squeeze me in last minute. I was recommended to Lorene, and I was just so grateful and happy with the service ! Not only did she slay my silk press, she was kind, very nurturing to my hair, and just overall what other hair stylist should be like.

My daughter had a horrible matted knot of a mess in hair, hair stylist Crystal got it out and gave me awesome advice on how to take care of her hair so that it won't get tangled like that again. My daughter did not complain at all, Crystal was very gentle and patient with her. We will definitely be returning

Lorene did her thing! She had a vision for my hair & I trusted her with the vision which resulted to a full color change. She was very nice and outgoing. The salon is very beautiful and welcoming. My overall experience with her was amazing and I will be coming back for touch ups.

I love going to this shop and I leave feeling confident and pretty. Lorene has been styling my natural hair for about four years now. I quickly learned that I could trust her to color it, trim it, and grow it. I get compliments all the time because it is full of body and shine. The atmosphere of the shop is peaceful and when it’s your appointment time, you’re in a private suite for you service. I highly recommended hair artistry and ask for Lorene, the owner.

ZERO STARS. 7-19-23: I called days ago, made an appointment, was told to bring cash, showed up on time, but there was no stylist. The only person in the building said she already had a client and took her client into a side door and closed the door.

After waiting in the front alone for 30 minutes, and listening to TLC's song called Scrubs on repeat, I walked out.

It was my first time there. Bad experience. I went to my car and made an appointment with another business.

Maybe this salon doesn't like new people? Unprofessional? Lazy? I don't know what's wrong with this place. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want your time wasted.

It's a very nice salon. My stylist has a room in the back of the shop & her room is really nice. I must say that all the stylists are very polite. At least the ones that I've met, I've only been to the shop twice. I do like that they keep the front door locked & you have to ring the doorbell to be buzzed in. I feel safe at this shop.
