We had a fantastic experience at Blu Fig Café! We tried their Avocado Toast, Plant Power Sandwich, Sugar-Free Latte, and incredible Raspberry Rose Latte—everything was delicious! The flavors were fresh, and you could tell a lot of care goes into their menu.

The staff was also fantastic—super friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to help us pick the best options. Their kindness made the experience even better.

I highly recommend Blu Fig Cafe for its delicious food, unique drinks, and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back!

Cute location and decor. Friendly and kind staff. Parking on site. Lots of creative drink options! Indoor and outdoor seating. Checked it out before the sick monkey museum. 🙂

This little coffee shop is tucked in behind a flight of stairs (for those who can't do stairs). Very small inside, but nice vibes with pleasant music playing. Very clean. I had a rose cardamom latte which was delicious. My friend had a regular latte and a croissant, which was served warm. She said it was one of the best croissants she's ever had. The man behind the counter (owner?) who took care of us was very pleasant. The only thing we didn't like was that they use paper cups and dishes. No "real" coffee cups or dishes.

My son and I were looking for a quiet place to sit and talk (and enjoy a cup of coffee), and found ourselves at Blu Fig in Long Grove, IL.
This hidden gem is nestled in the bottom floor of a converted old mill near the center of town. The vibe was laid back, the music light and there were a number of conversations ongoing when we entered. There is room for ~16-20 in a cute café setting.
We were immediately and warmly welcomed. A gentleman made us feel at-home as if we had been long time regulars.
My son ordered the raspberry hibiscus tea and I selected a large hot mocha. After ordering, we found a couple of comfy chairs near the window and just enjoyed ourselves.
A few minutes later a young lady brought our prepared drinks over to our table. This was inspected but after observing this seemed to be a part of the experience.
Both drinks were made to correct temperatures respectively. My son really enjoyed the hibiscus tea, and I the mocha. It was steamed to a lower temperature which allowed me to enjoy it almost immediately.
Blu Fig is just a great little café for you to lose yourself in for an hour…or more.

The French vibe of the place indoor and outdoor put me in a good mood, transporting me to a different place away from the typical. The lox and bagel was so fresh, aesthetically pleasing in presentation and the taste was flavorful. The cream cheese didn’t feel overpowering and found a nice balance to the salmon and veggies. Their signature chocolate and strawberry drink was delicate and complimenting to the bagel. They have nice outdoor seatings with a bench to feed water to a dog as well. I’d be happy to come back again.

This is such a cute little cafe in downtown long grove. I love the location with plenty of parking, and nice views. The owner is super nice and takes great care of all his customers.

They have great variety of breakfast items, coffee and smoothies. We had the avocado toast, club sandwich, hearty smoothie, mocha latte, and lox & bagel. Each of the items were freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The place gets busy on weekend buts it's worth the wait. They have a nice patio too . I will definitely be back here to try other things on their menu.
