Large and varied menu with reasonable or even bargain prices. Very attentive and helpful service. Busy and noisy at rush mealtimes, but that isn't surprising. Good is very good quality for the prices. Don't skip the made from scratch soups of the day.

In area of Caledonia at the intersection of 64 and 173 in Illinois you see Boone County Family Restuarant. This business is 43yrs. old! Taken over by Nick from his father, Outstanding customer service and the cleanest Restuarant I've ever been to!! You are greeted with a smile and an energetic "Hello" from Amy,Jackie etc. The food is prepared to perfection and treat yourself to a variety of pies and cream pies. Forget all the other fast food places, Boone County Family Restuarant is a must for your next dinning experience!! Highly recommend!!! You are awesome Nick, wait staff,bussers and cooks!

Where should I start… amazing breakfast spot in the middle of no where. Pancakes fluffy warm and delicious. Had the 1/2 pound steak with eggs with a side of ham. Good flavor on the meats and of course had to get the extra American cheese with the grilled onions on my Hashbrowns. Cheesy goodness. Also ordered the chili as an appetizer. A little salty for my taste but then I slapped some cheese and crackers on it and it hit the spot. Also the staff is very friendly and attentive. 10/10 will be back.
