I have been working with Tyra for a bit now, and I can say she is top notch. I have been to other voice teachers and grew up singing in school choir and musical theater. I have recorded myself singing over the years and always thought I sounded horrible. The problem is I love singing. With Tyra’s guidance, I heard a recording of myself that I actually liked. Her methods teach the basics, to have fun, and most importantly confidence. I would recommend Cleveland Academy of Performing Arts to any adult looking to get in, or back into singing or musical theater. Without a doubt, 5 STARS.

My son loves attending Cleveland Academy for the Performing Arts. He has taken so many of the classes offered including acting, voice over, and puppetry. He has used the skills he's learned in school to help him speak in front of his class with confidence. He is much more confident and has improved critical thinking skills. He is also much more able to convey his thoughts and feelings through his body language and pick up on others emotions and feelings through their non-verbal cues. Tyra is amazingly talented and a blessing to the kids that get to work with her. She is able to meet the kids where they are so they all end the class with confidence and new skills. Now that Sudie is working with CAPA it is even more incredible if that's even possible. I can't recommend Cleveland Academy of Performing Art's enough. It offers exceptional opportunities for kids through the classes offered.

Cleveland Academy of Performing Arts has been nothing short of awesome for my daughter! She started the classes not really sure if she would enjoy acting or singing. After the first class, she was hooked! She receives so much encouragement from Tyra...she loves it!

B-Major Academy put on the best theater camp for my little ones. This was, by far, their favorite camp to date, and they learned wonderful performance skills and were taught to get out of their comfort zone and present/perform in front of a crowd. The experience that Tyra and Evan gave to my children is invaluable, and we will be using their services again in the near future! Bravo!!

My teenage daughter attended theatre camp at B-Major Academy over the summer and had so much fun! It was a great intro to theatre. The kids learned songs from musicals, dances, makeup, costumes, and more. We will utilize Evan and Tyra's services again for sure!

Great use of venue, wonderful performances from a group of kids learning about being brave by performing. You could see the excitement in their faces. This is a passion project for the director & family, giving local kids a chance to shine, learn and succeed. I support this veteran run project and encourage others to see what it's all about. I look forward to more shows from this talented director.
