Great value, felt safe and a lot of places (food, gas, groceries) nearby.

I'm glad there was a room available. Many places were sold out. I left a different place that was being used as a homeless shelter. ||This was Very Clean. Wood type floor better for my allergies than carpets. AC worked great. New curtains. Lots of outlets. Fridge, MW worked fine. Quiet. I slept well.||Nice hosts.

I've stayed here 4 times now and have been pleasantly surprised each time. Its located on the main street in town about a minute off of I-5. The rooms are recently updated, the King bed is very comfortable, it is impeccably clean, large TV with a good selection of cable channels, the water is hot, the shower is great, it is quiet at night, everything is on one level so no neighbors above or below, coin laundry is available for $1 a load, in-room coffee maker and fridge, and the room is appointed nicely for this price. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They offer a minimal breakfast--cold cereal and milk. I actually look forward to staying here. For the price, its a good deal. Most people tend to avoid mom-and-pop motels in favor of the large chains, but that would be a mistake here in Corning! For the price of a 2-3 star motel, this feels more like a 4 star to me.

The American Inn in Corning is quite possibly the best budget motel I've stayed at in years. The only downside I can see is that the room and bathroom are kinda small if you have more than 2 people or a family. But overall, this is great value. The quality of pillows & mattress far exceeded my expectations for the price. I've stayed at places that cost twice as much and weren't nearly as nice -- yeah, I'm looking at you, Red Roof Inn.

I’ve got a room there twice @american inn Corning ca . and woke up with bed bug bitesall over my arms face and body .such an inconvenience! Couldn’t get my money back . Definitely not going there again . Never had a problem with fleas or bedbugs until the morning after I stayed in that room!

Staying for one night. Might want to supply your own pillows if your into them. 3 pillows for 2 people. Place is clean and quiet. Comffy bed. Its not the ritz, but when you are tired it wont matter. Place is snall so I find that a personal plus. They were very nice. NO pets allowed. TV decent size 40 inch. And free breakfast.

Honestly if i could put no stars I would. I asked if they took FEMA because my house burnt down in the Paradise fire (mind you I have two babies) and they hung up on me. Then proceeded to be rude when I called back to let them know I could pay for the room. Terrible place, the lady was a terrible person. Do not stay there.
