Claddagh Coffee Cafe is not for the faint of heart. The Cafe is a throwback to the 70's maybe late 60's, but with a reflection of the local neighborhood of the Mission/Geneva area. The cafe iinterior has 4 tables, counter seating with 3 stools and a big window for people watching. The cafe offers various pastries, coffee, breakfast, and sandwiches. I ordered ice coffee and a ginger bread. The cafe seems to be a gathering point for the seniors. If dominos or cards were available, they would definitely be on the table.

This place is a bustling small business with locals that fill the place up on a weekday. I was in the area running errands and I decided to stop by here for a coffee. The service was extremely welcoming and they were nothing but kind to their customers. If I’m ever back in the area again, I will definitely be coming here. The best part is that their coffee is great, and you pay for a decent serving size as well!

Cladah’s coffe shop feels like the good place to be exposed to second hand smoking, it’s not inviting, smells like cigarettes inside and outside.
Not inviting atmosphere, the scenery is: many cars double parked obstructing the busy Geneva avenue, Cladah’s Coffe customers smoking right in-front of the business and a filthy sidewalk with hundreds of cigarette butts.
My latte was good and the service was friendly one time and rushed the second time.

I’m new in the neighborhood looking to support local businesses and I’m hoping for a clean and inviting coffee shop in the neighborhood

I love this coffee shop. Great cold brew and especially best sandwiches in the neighborhood! I’m vegetarian and like the avocado sandwich the most.

My first visit to this neighborhood, looking for a coffee shop to sit down with laptop, and this place serves quite nicely. I was concerned with its current Google rating (below 4 stars), but compared to other shops with similar ratings, I think this place deserves better. Great variety of coffee drinks and flavors, included blended ice (frappe-like), and some pastries. Bunch of tables, spacious, and with wi-fi. Looks to be family run, nice folks. Support local coffee shops!

A stylistic leftover from the time when Excelsior was full of Irish immigrants, an old fashioned floorboard coffee shop, and what I think was Miles Davis and John Coltrane playing. Aside from the loudest speaking patrons I've ever encountered, whose friendly and lively conversation sounds like they're about to throw punches, a great immersion in an unspoiled neighborhood with time to think, read, write, and enjoy good coffee. Sandwiches, pastries and light fare available.

Decent coffee, but I only come here because of how close it is. The espresso doesn't do much for me, so I guess that is saying a lot. Very friendly staff, but the place does look a bit run down. Needs a good makeover.

Every day I drive and pass this area and the customers who frequent this establishment have always illegally double Parked their vehicles on the street causing a traffic delay daily. So I would recommend that the owner of this establishment start warning its customers to not illegally double park in the street.
DPT officers will be called to start handing out tickets.
