Fairfield Inn & Suites Oyster Point is located close to the car rental return at SFO (5 minutes). We were greeted at the front desk by a friendly and efficient front desk agent. We were quickly checked in and he made sure we had all we needed for our stay including a bottle of water for each of us. Our king room was small but comfortable, plenty big for our overnight stay, and it was CLEAN! We really appreciate it when we see a clean room, so much more comfortable to stay in. We slept well but had to leave before breakfast was served in the morning. The rate was reasonable and we only paid $18 a night for parking.
The only problem we noted was that there is no ramp for wheelchairs or rolling luggage at the back entrance. We'll stay here again when we are in the area.

One of the worst Marriott ever visited. During my 2-night stay, upon entering the building, the entrance always smells like strong bathroom cleaning spray. Following the path to the elevator, you can also smell strong chrorine from the pool. Taking the elevator to the second floor, an extra door is closed outside the elevator which is confusing. One of the hallway light flickers the whole time.
Bathtub is listed as an amenity on most booking sites, but they are only by request and located within accessible rooms. When I brought up the concern to the front-desk, their first reaction was affirming bathtub was never listed as an amenity. TV didn't work, though I don't need it anyway.
Overall it is indeed a new and nice-looking hotel, but nothing else within hold any hospitality value. I will not stay here again.

As a Titanium Elite member, I stay at many Marriott properties and frequent in San Francisco area.

This location was just not quite up to standard. I've stayed and reviewed many Fairfield properties but this one did not meet my expectations. The level of attention to detail is not present from customer engagement, room cleanliness, and general maintenance. Front staff were hit or miss as some were engaging and some keep to themselves. 1 of 2 elevator was out of service during my entire stay. I had visible mold spores growing in my room which clearly have been progressing for a while. It is hard to miss when it is really visible on a white background. The final fitment such as shower handle that is beyond straight is the level of attention to detail I see. There are many other Fairfield in properties I have stayed along the highway and will most likely stay there instead.

Let's not forget to highlight some positives. The location is very nice as it is close to the airport, the hotel is right off the highway, it is also tucked in a quiet area, and their breakfast is always appreciated.

Please pay attention to details more and increase in maintenance.

Won't stay here again. Front desk isn't receptive to app messages. No toothpaste and only some questionable unclean toothbrush. Also not helpful for shuttle booking, they gave me wrong information and were not friendly on the phone. My fridge also wasn't cleaned out and there were opened sauce containers left over from someone else. Overall not a clean property. I stayed here 6 months ago and it was great. I honestly think management and staff have changed... not for the better.

Plane was delayed, our baggage was left in London, the shuttle picked us up after 10pm. What a lifesaver. The front desk was welcoming and furnished us with toiletries and toothbrushes. We had to catch our next flight early, but they made sure we had coffee and breakfast even though it didn't start for another 1/2 hour. A great end of our vacation.

I rarely post negative posts unless warranted, this experience was particularly disappointing. I found multiple rooms infested with ants, and in the bathroom—really unpleasant. When I mentioned it to the front desk, I was told it was due to the rain, which I find hard to accept. How is it ever acceptable for a hotel to have ants? I have spent over 600 nights at Marriott hotels in recent years, I’ve never encountered a property in such poor condition. My boss also found ants on another floor just a week later.
During a previous stay, I couldn’t even get into my room because the door reader wasn’t working, and it took nearly 30 minutes to get a new room at midnight. Thankfully, the front desk agent that time was much more helpful but back to back negative experiences with this location, I’ll find somewhere that provides a better service for myself and my company.

We are Gold Elite members and travel frequently. King room is cramped for 1 adult let alone 2 ppl with luggage. Bed so soft and sinking in that my back hurt instantly and I have no back problems. Can hear everything through the windows like they are open.

Crusty white stain on the bed frame. Will not stay again. Guy working the desk was nice. Bathroom was clean. Pillows are tiny but ok. They charge $18 for parking - given you need a car here and it’s their own parking lot it’s ridiculous.

I recently used your shuttle service and was surprised to find a charge on my credit card a few days later. When I provided my card for the shuttle ride, I was not informed that there would be a fee. I had assumed the card was being used for a deposit, not an actual charge.
I understand that shuttle services can have a fee, but I believe I should have been informed beforehand.
