The sound was incredible. Lighting on stage was spot on. Very impressed. I was a little nervous with other reviews saying only one bathroom, but they must not know that upstairs there is a bathroom with 6 stalls!! They were always empty. A drank a couple of White Claws, and they were cold. I even bought a taco from the vendor. I had a great experience. Thank you

Went here last Sunday for Modest Mouse and had a great time. It's an older, medium-sized, venue which I actually prefer. The best part is, they aren't Ticketmaster/Livenation affiliated as far as I know - so I don't feel ripped off when I go to purchase tickets. The sound was great, the bathrooms got a little messy towards the end of the night, but that's normal. FYI, I think they take card for everything except alcohol here. A little weird, but it is what it is. Just bring cash to be safe.

I've been booking, performing and attending concerts for 2.5 decades. This is a textbook example of a venue wasted by inadequate management + promotion. I hate going to this place and seeing how bad they've let it turn into an afterthought.

The ceilings are so high and their in-house sound equipment is cheap, so the sound is bouncing all over the place. They employ a "sound guy" who just moves dials up and down after soundcheck... one of "those" sound guys.

I came to a show here in 2018 where the plumbing backed up over the weekend and the entire building smelled like a overflowing festival Port-O-Potty... to the point that you could smell the odor while standing on the sidewalk. Management appeared unfazed and basically communicated "sucks for you" to its paying customers. Meanwhile, the headlining act burned incense on stage and sped through their set in record time to get out of there...

Cheap security who seem indifferent about the safety of show-goers. I've mistakenly brought pocket knives into this place and they don't care.

Now, it sounds like bands have started having their gear/personal belongings stolen from the back. Heck, their website doesn't even load the majority of the time.

I desperately wish somebody would take promotion from J Max and his constituents, because these people don't know how to adequately market live music anymore. It isn't the year 2002, the methods used more than two decades ago aren't enough in 2024. All they do is book middling electronic/DJ or country acts, Taylor Swift/Shrek raves, punk bands 25 years past their prime and eyeliner metal for little kids.

There are mid-sized indie, hip hop, pop rock and metal acts EVERYWHERE right now—not sure why promoters affiliated with this theater can't devote a few hours each week to making contacts and perhaps getting added to future tour routes? I mean, God forbid they get some acts people actually turn out for.

Unfortunately the quality of sound was NOT good here for Asking Alexandria’s latest tour. Happy the videos I took you could hear the singers but actually being there? Nope. 👎 a lot of the time it was just muddled and we tried moving around the whole venue.. cool location with bars/food/hotels but ya ..just a little bummed about our experience in terms of quality of sound. Perhaps those on the mic should be turned up more? Cause all the bass and the shape of the room maybe the reverb from it just muddles out the singers but ya idk. Probably won’t be back to this venue :/

Awesome place to watch live music. You get more of a chance to get up close and personal with your favorite bands or artists. Descent sized stage and plenty of room for moshing, dancing, or how ever you get down at your shows. I definitely recommend it. And I will most definitely be back for more!

Love the Senator! Always great shows at a reasonable price. The old feel to the building itself is just magical. You can just imagine how many great shows have been preformed there in the past! I will return as many times as I can!
